🚴‍♀️ 🚴 The Whitnall Loop of the Oak Leaf Trail explores all of the cool stuff located in the Whitnall Park area in Hales Corners. Get on your bike and explore the points of interest along this section of the trail, including Wehr Nature Center whose staff is celebrating 50 years of educating Milwaukee County residents and visitors about the importance of the natural areas in our community. In addition to Wehr Nature Center, you'll come across Boerner Botanical Gardens, the Whitnall Park playground, the Kegel Alpha trail and The Rock Sports Complex at Ballpark Commons on the Whitnall Loop.

Get your Oak Leaf Discovery Tour (OLDT) passport app today and start exploring the Whitnall Loop and other lines of the Oak Leaf Trail! The passport app is only $5 with proceeds benefitting Milwaukee County trails.

New, beginner-friendly trails are opening TODAY at Kletzsch Park. Fueled by 1,000+ hours of volunteer work over 3 years, we're excited to share in their success!

The official kick-off ceremony is Today at 6:00 p.m. at Kletzsch Park Pavilion 6560 N Milwaukee River Pkwy, Glendale, WI 53209

"Many of the other (MTB) trails are a long haul from the city (Milwaukee), and as we're building more trails in the county parks, that makes it accessible to all people and all bikes," said Marion Gottschalk, board member of Metro Mountain Bikers, Milwaukee MTB Trail Advocates

Mountain bikers can take on a new challenge with trails opening at Kletzsch Park Happening on Tuesday, a new mountain biking trail is opening up at Kletzsch Park in Glendale. Members of the Metro Mountain Bikers said the trail took about three years to develop.

Grab your bike and join us for a FREE cycling celebration for kids entering 6th - 12th grade this fall, presented by Milwaukee Recreation!

The 2nd Annual Celebrating Diversity and Inclusion Through Cycling event will be held at the Beulah Brinton Community Center on our Bay View race day on Thursday, June 20 from 10am - 1pm.

Kids will participate in a two lap race and a few 30-minute skill clinics with special guest speakers Rahsaan Bahati and J.P. Primm. The day will conclude with lunch provided by Milwaukee Recreation and a root beer float party, courtesy of Bay View Neighborhood Association, Abe's Ice Cream and Sprecher Brewery craft soda.
