I recently joined the Fort Conah Restoration Society, I’ll be doing blacksmithing with them as we rebuild the 1840’s Hudson Bay station at Ft Conah, Montana. I’m really looking forward to it, should be interesting. I’ll post what I’m doing here.

Interesting fact, the first cabin in the pictures is the oldest surviving building in Montana!

I’m making a railing for our deck, first one I’ve done. Here’s a mock-up of a section, I’m pretty happy with the result. I’ll show you all more as I go along, if it turns out well I’m going to start adding railings and fences to what I do….

Here’s a new style of drawer pull I been playing around with. I like it, I think I’m gonna add it to my store and website. What do you think?

A customer sent me this picture of the barn door handles I made her on the door…Perfect! Not to brag, but they look right at home. I love seeing my things in the field!!

Sunday shenanigans riding our Himalayans up Mill Creek Rd today…My lovely wife .mirror.extension.lounge and I got in about 20 miles of gravel and 30 on the pavement in the first ride of the season. Road was in bad shape! Mud, wash outs, rocks…perfect for the Royal Enfields, they are great forest road machines.

True! Local is better, if we’ve learned anything in the last 5 years it’s that our communities need to be able to take care of ourselves!
