Hi friends! We've got a private event happening in the studio tonight and so we will be closed for walk-in painters. If you have a pick-up, you are more than welcome to come by.

Don't forget, we've got Night at the Movies tomorrow night from 5p-8p. We'll have popcorn and be showing a staff favorite animated movie.

☀️ Our July Summer Camp has just wrapped up. Here's a recap:
-
We visited a new continent each day and learned about some of its countries. Starting with North America, we studied the Man in the Maze of the Tohono O'odham and created our own sand paintings like the Navajo. We also leaned about Dia de Los Mu***os, and painted our own sugar skull bowls!
-
In South America, we studied football (soccer) and Mardi Gras in Brazil, and Latin American pattern making.
-
In Europe, we painted swords like King Arthur's, and painted vases like in Ancient Greece. We also learned about the intricate (and exhaustive) art of Polish pottery and its patterns. And, of course, for Holland, we got our very own wooden clogs and wooden roses!

In Asia, we studied Russia, Iran, India and Japan! We painted our own Russian nesting dolls, learned about the Epic of Gilgamesh, and painted our own Persian Guardian Lions. We also learned about wooden henna stamping, and Japanese tea ceremony!

Finally, in Africa, we studied Egyptian hieroglyphics and the pyramids. In Morocco, we painted lamps, and in Zambia we studied native animals.

We had so much fun exploring the world this summer. Thank you to all who joined us, and special thanks to our camp "counsellors" who made this year a fun and educational experience. We hope to see you next time! ☀️

- Tomorrow, Friday July 26ths Potty Mouth Night is full
- Saturday July 27th the studio will be closing at 3pm for a private event. Pickups are welcome!
- Heads up for those sensitive to sound; next week on Thursday August 1st, beginning at about 2pm they will be conducting an annual FIRE ALARM and sprinkler system test

Have you been in recently and left something behind?

We've had 1 pendant and 2 rings turned in our found and we'd like to get them back to their people. Send us a message or give us a call and describe it and if it matches, we'll be happy to return your jewelry item to you.

We had an awesome time with our most recent disc dyeing class, with and ! These discs were dyed using either clear glue or lotion, and they produced some pretty sweet results. Watch out for some of them flying on the disc golf course 😉 & don't forget to keep an eye out for another class if you had to miss this one!

Hey friends, just a heads up that we have a full studio booking this Saturday for a group of 80!

So, we will be closing at 3pm on Saturday. We'll be back to regular painting hours on Sunday, 11a-7p.

It's definitely safe to say our event was a great success! Thank you to all who came out to support and donate to and , as well as those who helped socialize these purrfect little kittens with lots of cuddles! 🩷 With such a PAWSOME turn out, we hope to be able to do another event like this in the future.
