This project included the mastication of 400+ cubic yards of stacked deadfall, and the removal of many standing and fallen dead trees. This project also had many challenges including steep terrain and very tight operating conditions!

"Our house is on a cliff, and there's a tremendously steep grade around us, not to mention that the forest downhill from us is extremely thick as well as rocky in places. Our fire mitigators, who are also fire-fighters, said it was one of the most difficult and dangerous properties they had ever\d considered mitigating. As fire mitigators, our crew from Timberline were extremely knowledgeable about the habits and behavior of fire. In accordance with their specialization in mitigating difficult or complex properties, they did an outstanding job on the very unaccommodating terrain leading up the mountain to our house. Our foreman (Kyle) was very communicative about the job from the very beginning and made himself available by phone almost anytime (including weekends). Their attentiveness to our needs and concerns was a real plus; we never had a problem or question about their work. He was clear about what the mitigation would and would not encompass. As the job progressed, he often checked with us to be sure that together we were solving problems that came up. At the same time, our crew kept us informed as to when and how work would take place and what we could expect. They were right on time with their schedule for the job, and we are very satisfied.
