STAFF SPOTLIGHT!
Our November staff spotlight is Sue Zenisek, our dedicated and hard-working office manager! Sue has been with Best Custom Homes for nearly 2 years - you have probably met her if you stopped by our office.
Sue is a long-time Evergreen resident, having moved to Colorado from Minnesota for Grad School in the 80's. She raised her kids Maxx, Marielle, and CJ here and is now "almost" an empty nester. When she's not working, her favorite activity is traveling. She has a Lil Teardrop trailer that she travels throughout Colorado with her dog, Daisy, and she has also recently returned from an amazing trip to Greece! In addition to traveling, she loves to hike, kayak, ski, dance to live music, and has recently discovered a new passion of painting (not house painting!).

Our Staff Spotlight for October is Ben Best! He has been our Customer Account Manager for the past 4 years, working remotely from his home in Idaho. Ben and his wife, Megan, have four children - Bryce (18), Kamryn (15), Ty (13), and Tenley (10), along with their golden retriever, Maverick. Ben enjoys attending his kid's sports activities and family time outdoors camping. Prior to joining B*H, Ben has worked in a variety of jobs including, remodel work during college in Washington, worked in the grocery business for several years working his way up into management, and operations management in a large fire protection company. We are so thankful to have Ben on our team - we can always count on him to have the answers that we need and that our clients need!

Nothing we love more than taking a home from start to finish and seeing the smiles on the faces of our clients when they move into their beautiful new home!

STAFF SPOTLIGHT!
Our September Staff Spotlight is Justin Pierce! He has been a Project Manager with Best Custom Homes for 3 1/2 years. He started working in the trades when he was just 12 years old. In his free time he enjoys Brazilian jiu jitsu and working out at the local Crossfit gym. He loves to hunt elk in the fall, and enjoys winning the Evergreen men's golf league with his best friend, Scott Brattebo (also a Best Custom Homes staff member!). He loves helping elderly people cross the street and getting things off the top shelf for shorter people at Safeway. He always put his grocery cart back when he's done! ;)
Justin has an amazingly talented and smart daughter who is a senior at Evergreen High School. She will be attending college in the south next year.
He also has a "77 year old" tabby cat who has spent his entire life living in the outdoors of the Colorado rocky mountains
Justin's favorite quote: "you gotta be two something to do something"
His Final Fun Fact is: "I have the coolest sister"

Laying out a new home at the very top of Evergreen. We absolutely love what we do. The challenge of this site is what makes it fun. The people are what make it a great experience. *h

The B*H team along with several subs were onsite this morning for a walk-though at the beautiful Lazy S Retreat. So exciting to see this amazing house take shape!

Framing Progress at Blue Sky Valley! Seeing this Centre Sky Creation come to life is absolutely satisfying! Next, the complicated steel frame goes vertical. The frame looking out at Mount Blue Sky is absolutely perfect.

Interior Finishes in progress at Hygee Hideaway! The owners will be living here in 4 weeks. We have had the most amazing experience with these clients. They will be lifelong friends for certain. That’s what makes it all worth it.

This remote home is going to be spectacular. MTN Design Crested Butte Custom is one of our favorites. PrecisionCraft and Insulspan materials are onsite and we will be framing in a few short weeks! Stay tuned!!!

Lazy S Ranch is taking shape! The exterior Patios are underway! All hands on deck as we start Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing Inside! The process can be so so smooth if you follow the order of operations!!
