“Clean” skincare often contains synthetic, lab-made ingredients that can irritate the skin. Tammy, like many, experienced this and became disenchanted with the products marketed as “clean.”

Determined to find a true solution, she turned to natural alternatives—plant-based ingredients that healed and strengthened her skin. She discovered that the key to healthy skin lies in nature, with organic ingredients like acerola cherries, yucca root, coconut milk, baobab, and more.

“Plants do for our bodies what they do for nature,” Tammy explains. “The polyphenols in plants protect them from the sun, and when applied to our skin, they act as antioxidants, helping to shield us from sun damage.”

Inspired by this, Tammy switched to using only plant-based ingredients in her skincare routine. This sparked her mission to create KLEOS+KLEA: a skincare line free from chemicals, synthetic additives, and preservatives—offering truly clean, nutrient-rich products that promote healthy skin for all types.
