Kids Give Back is the nonprofit we are supporting at our Happy Hour on Thursday, September 26, from 5 to 7 pm at the Tysons Social Tavern located at the Doubletree Hotel. Denise Rossitto-Gavilan will give us a short overview about Kids Give Back and we will be collecting Baby Items from the list below, or if you prefer to make a donation, you can do that. If you can't attend the happy hour and would like to donate, please drop off the items to my office at McCabe's Printing Group in Fairfax.

Happy Monday! We're thrilled to start this week with (literally) a fresh coat of paint! We've officially repainted our lobby (pardon our dust last week!), our rush projects from last week are out the door as of Friday afternoon, and we're ready to tackle this week's new projects and challenges as they come in. Thanks to our new bookbinding equipment, we can now offer square folding on saddle-stitched books of any size!

It may look and sound subtle, but square folding is a quick and economical way to (A) make your staple-bound books dress-to-impress when distributed and (B) bookshelf-friendly when stored. All of our saddle-stitching equipment now comes standard with this feature.

We have been reaching out and posting about sponsorships and many of you may not know what the Christmas Tea is. So, here is my attempt at helping you out with that 🙂

This is the 4th Annual Christmas Tea. Each year, we have chosen a non profit to benefit from the sponsorships for the event. This year, we have chosen SPARC as our non profit.
In order to attend, you must be a sponsor. There are different levels which give you a different number of tickets and advertising opportunities. Some sponsorships get your company logo printed on the step and repeat...and one of them will get you a podcast on the social collective podcast shedule in 2025.
We also have a raffle at the event. You purchase raffle tickets and we will have displayed raffle items that you drop your ticket in. Winners are chosen at the event and you get to take your prize home. IF YOU WANT TO DONATE A RAFFLE ITEM, WE'D LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU.
Is this dress up or fun or casual - Your choice. I wear an elf type Christmas dress every year 🙂 Some people dress up - lots of Christmas sweaters. Just have fun!
This is not a tea party. Bluemont Station will have tables of 10 set up. There will be a buffet, an amazing dessert display donated from many of our talented members, and a special Christmas Iced Tea family recipe by David Weinschel who owns Bluemont Station.
Santa will be there....so be prepared to get a photo!
We will have our much loved ORNAMENT EXCHANGE! Everyone brings a wrapped ornament and we play a game to exchange so you go home with a new ornament to adorn your decorations.
We will play a Reindeer Game 🙂
There will be presentations - but nothing boring!

Our production manager Lisa did a FANTASTIC job making this display frame for a recent banner we produced for Tail Waggers HOPP! Now it can safely stand on its own for all of their events, rain or shine!

Tail Waggers HOPP is a non-profit 501(c)(3) all volunteer organization that runs fundraisers that benefit animal welfare leagues. Tail Waggers HOPP also provides working therapy dog teams, who spread happiness, joy, and relief to those in need.

We recently made significant upgrades to the equipment we use to make paperback books! Whether you need one book or one-thousand books, we're happy to say we can help. All handled in-house by our awesome team and machinery in Merrifield, Virginia.

Minus a little bit of dirt, our synthetic paper from February 2023 is STILL going strong in our mulch garden! Alongside surviving sunlight, snow, hail, pollen, and rain, we can now safely say it also survived Friday's tropical storm and is as vibrant as it was on Day 1!

Synthetic paper is PERFECT for projects that are prone to less-than-ideal conditions such as moisture, excessive handling, and dirt. Alongside successfully using it for our FREE lost pet flyers, we also regularly use it for restaurant menus, outdoor notices, and event passes. We stock it on our floor, so let us know about your next awesome project and we'll get to work!
