A little bit of rain did not dampen the spirits of the guests at the 10th Annual Twilight Rotary Lobster Boil. Lots of raffle & auction items, beer and wine for everyone to enjoy. Thank you to all our supporters.

Tickets are in for the Twilight Rotary's 9th annual Lobster Boil being held on Saturday, September 24th. $130 per person for a Maine Lobster Boil dinner. Tickets include Caymus wine and local craft beers. Enjoy a fun evening all for a great cause; Operation Comfort and Care supporting our local military men & women and other local charities. On Saturday evening Twilight Rotary Club hosted the 8th Annual Lobster Boil benefitting the St. Mark's Food Pantry and other local charities. Guests were able to enjoy Caymus Wines, Heretic Beer, live music and lobster at McNaughton park. Thank you to the generosity of the sponsors, donors and guests, the event was fun and a great success.
Club President Glen Faison presents a check for $10,000 to Fairfield Community Services President John De Lorenzo. The Club raised the money at the annual Lobster Boil event held in September which was chaired by Nancy Meadows Trigueiro. The Club annually donates the proceeds from the event to the Community Services Foundation for the benefit of the Fun On The Run program.

Holiday Boutique takes over downtown Fairfield venue to help launch shopping season

Happening Now: The 8th Annual Holiday Boutique takes place from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. today at the Fairfield Community Center. Admission is free. This event is one of the first holiday-related shopping events of the season, with nearly 30 vendors on site today with something for just about everyone on your holiday gifts list. Members of the Fairfield-Suisun Twilight Rotary Club host the event. Proceeds support various youth activities in the community through the club’s nonprofit charitable foundation. The foundation supports such activities as Fun on the Run, a mobile after-school recreation and nutrition program for children ages 4 to 18 that brings activities to the heart of Fairfield’s neighborhoods, and a larger effort by local Rotary clubs to help teens from the Fairfield Police Activities League attend Solano Community College. The Fairfield Community Center is located at 1000 Kentucky St.

Texas St., Fairfield, CA 94533). Just look for the big refrigerated Food Bank truck in the parking lot! Drop by Walmart, buy a turkey (or bring one) and help feed a family for Christmas! All turkeys donated this Saturday will be provided to needy families serviced by the Contra Costa-Solano Food Bank in time for Christmas. Feel free to share!
