It is with a heavy heart that the Fairfield Police Department announces the passing of our beloved K9 R***r after suffering from an acute medical condition. R***r and his partner, Officer Kevin Wells, were a dedicated team who served the Town of Fairfield from 2011-2016. Over the years, R***r participated in countless searches, drug interdiction operations, and community events that have all contributed to the safety and well-being of the Town of Fairfield. For that, we will be forever grateful for his service.
