Solano Eye Care, an Optometric Corporation
A comprehensive eye exam is administered by an Optometrist and can detect not only vision problems but problems with eye health and general health as well.
Maintain the life of your eyewear with these quick tips:
➡️ Clean Lenses Properly- Use a microfiber cloth, moistened with cleansing spray specifically designed for glasses. Avoid using household cleaners or paper products, as they can scratch the lenses.
➡️ Store Them Safely- Keep your glasses in a protective case. This helps prevent damage to frames and lenses.
➡️ Handle with Care- Use both hands to put on and take off. Avoid placing them on your head, which can stretch out the frame.
When you can't see that far... come see us.
Q: Why do some people have two different colored eyes?
A: Heterochromia!
Heterochromia is a variation in the distribution or concentration of melanin, the pigment that gives color to the eyes, skin, and hair. The three main types of heterochromia are complete, segmental, and central.
Heterochromia itself is usually harmless, but if it develops later in life or is accompanied by other symptoms, it’s advisable to seek medical evaluation to rule out underlying conditions.
Most people experience eye problems at some point. Some issues are minor and resolved on their own or can be easily treated at home, while others require specialist care. Book Today.
