Happy 4th of July, Falcons!
As a reminder, campus is closed today and Summer classes will resume on Friday, July 5th.
A Huge Congratulations to the Solano Community College Rising Scholars Program graduates from California Medical Facility (CMF)! These incredible individuals, who earned their degrees while incarcerated, walked alongside their peers this June to receive their hard-earned degrees.
This milestone is a testament to their resilience and the transformative power of education. The SCC Rising Scholars Program has been breaking barriers since 2015, offering high-quality courses and degree pathways to incarcerated students, leading to a brighter future for many. With over 40 degrees earned since 2020, including transferable degrees, the impact is profound. The program not only provides education but fosters hope and a second chance for many.
Join us in celebrating their achievements and the dedication of the Solano Community College team for making such a difference in the lives of justice-impacted communities!
