1 lesson I’ve learned over 11 years of tattooing now: DO NOT EVER RUSH THROUGH A TATTOO and try to get more done than you should in 1 session. You can get such a better quality product and allow the skin time and less trauma to heal by adding an additional session instead of packing everything into 1!

Don’t let a tattoo walk out the door “finished” that you know you should have spent a few more hours on to do it right.

In memory of a friend. A friend who would not want the meaning of his tattoo to go with him from this life, but to stay to influence and encourage those left behind.

It means “redeemed” in Aurebesh, (which is a fictional language used in Star Wars). Redemption is not earned by us because we have a spiritual debt that we could never pay. Jesus paid the debt He did not owe for those of us who owe a debt we cannot pay. My friend would want everyone to know they are enough and that they can have redemption today through Christ alone.

This is a sweet tattoo for a friend compiling Toothless, Stitch and Baymax as a fun family tat! Kudos to my apprentice Morgan for her inspiration with the design!
