Why shaving is important prior to laser hair removal procedure?

👉 it is more painful as the hair melts/burns under the laser heat and leads to unnecessary irritation

👉 Laser targets melanin and excess hair on the surface will waste its energy on the surface rather than letting the laser identify hair follicle and impact it to reduce the hair regrowth. It is recommended to shave at least 24h to maximum 48 hrs to avoid potential razor burns, open cuts or irritated skin and subsequently - infections, burns or blistering, hyper/hypo pigmentation, etc.

👉 is it recommended to shave in-between the sessions? YES! Unless you wish not to until before the procedure itself.

⚡️Do not Wax, Thread, Pluck or use any hair removal creams once you start laser hair removal treatments! In order to disable the hair follicle - it needs to be intact.
