Congratulations to Frank Maddalon on his retirement!
Frank and Iris Maddalon founded F.R. Maddalon Plumbing and Heating, Inc. in 1977. Frank has been a member of PHCC since 1985 and has held every office at the local and state level. Frank has also served as the national director representing New Jersey and New York and was National Secretary in 2006-2007 and PHCC President from 2010 to 2011. He was a member of the Union-Affiliated Contractors enhanced service group, served on the National Standard Plumbing Code committee and the PHCC Educational Foundation’s Plumbing Apprentice and Journeyman Training Committee. For more than 10 years he worked tirelessly as chairman of both the SkillsUSA Contest Committee and the Plumbing Apprentice Contest Committee.
Frank and Iris joined the PHCC Educational Foundation’s Board of Governors in 2009, doing their part to secure the future of education for our industry.

We spotted some friends representing PHCC at the WorldSkills Lyon 2024 Competition happening now in Lyon, France. An international hello to Foundation Chair Kevin Tindall and spouse Kathy. Other volunteers are onsite as well, including Bob Hahn.

WorldSkills is an international competition that showcases the world's most talented young professionals in a variety of skilled trades. It's held every two years in different cities around the world and is known as the "Skills Olympics".

9:37 am on September 11, 2001 - Today we remember the many lives lost that day, including PHCC employee Norma Khan, who was on her way to our national convention when hijackers crashed American Airlines Flight 77 into the Pentagon. A tree was planted in her memory at the PHCC office, where it is still growing today.

🔨 Don't let the myth of being "too old" hold you back from pursuing a career in the trades! In fact, there's no age limit for starting an apprenticeship. The average age of a State of Delaware Registered Apprentice is 26, but they range from high school students to those in their 50s. It's never too late to learn a new skill and start a rewarding career. Two of our scholarship winners this year are proudly silver-haired!
