It saddens me to see another beloved locally owned business like BernBaums close its doors this past weekend.

The loss of places like Zanbroz and now BernBaums impacts not just our community but also the dedicated employees we’ve come to know and the owners who poured their heart and soul into creating such unique and memorable spaces. I can only imagine that making this decision was incredibly difficult.

I’d like to take a moment to remind you that the 400 Block is still bustling with wonderful locally owned businesses that are doing amazing things for our community ~

After a long 2 weeks of selling at Animinneapolis with .mooreart to going to a much needed getaway in Cancun we’re back for the next couple weeks ~

Business hours are now up on my storefront door! Excuse me for any confusion there was but I think I’m happy with the hours I’ve put up and will hopefully get to see your gorgeous faces 5 days out of the week 💞

I’ve also attached weekends I’ll be gone selling at cons with .mooreart for the summer season - minus Street Fair, the store will be open during it for you to cool off ☀️

“Hi, I’m Steph! I’m a graphic designer, pin maker and illustrator. In 2019 I started Jade & Crown as a way to make my dream of turning art into tangible products a reality.
I’m inspired by anime, puns, and all things kawaii. My art (and life) aesthetic is warm toned pastels, deep purples, holographic sparkles, with a hint of vaporwave elements.

I’m incredibly excited to announce that in late summer 2024, I’m moving Paradox Comics-N-Cards to 814 Main Avenue S, the historic downtown Fargo Mexican Vilage building. I know my family and many others have treasured memories there and I’m thrilled to make it the new home for Paradox. Stay tuned for the exact date coming up this summer and be ready for all kinds of events and sales all leading up to the grand opening!

We’re going to have ample parking, easy access, and double our size. We’re combining our event and retail areas into a giant space perfect for buying comics, finding new games, and taking part in events. That’s just the beginning, we’ll bring everything you love about Paradox and add more hobbies and more family friendly gatherings.

Orange Records is also moving in to a section of the building alongside Paradox and together, our building will be the ultimate destination for all the analog entertainment you could ever want.

I can’t wait for the big move and I’m going to celebrate! Expect sales, parties, and surprises including Free Comic Book day, a Nerdy Rummage Sale, and all of it leading up to the blockbuster Grand Opening COMING SOON!
