You can have ice cream for breakfast EVERY day here at Farmhouse, since we are open in the early morning 🙂. But Saturday, EVERYONE is joining us- so, we're tossing in an extra treat! 💲💲

It’s hard to believe, but FIVE YEARS AGO TODAY we opened the doors at our Farmington Hills location!

When the first customers walked in that day the temperature was -14 *actual* degrees, but that didn’t keep folks from stopping in! New neighbors who had been watching our construction trucks coming & going for months, wondering what was going on in the corner of the old hardware store – old customers from our Franklin shop who came by to grab their favorite coffee & say “hi!”, “we’ve missed you!” & “congratulations!” – dancers from the studio next door who had been waiting ‘patiently’ to get an ice cream after class, peeking around the papered windows for weeks to see if we were ready – and friends and family and former employees and local business owners from the chamber and city council members from Franklin and Farmington Hills. We were stunned and humbled on that very cold day.

And now, FIVE YEARS later we think back to all the early morning coffees, breakfasts & lunches, business meetings, first dates, study sessions, late night ice cream runs, team celebrations, marriage proposals, fundraisers, book signings, birthday parties, artist exhibits, family & community events we’ve been a part of… not to mention the support from our amazing customers during COVID which allowed us to keep going…and we are still overwhelmed by the love & support we’ve received from our community.

We are so thankful to all our customers & fans for your continued support. We plan to celebrate our anniversary in spring once things warm up a bit & we hope you’ll join us!

We look forward to many more years of sharing Cups, Cones and A Little Piece of Home!
