Today I gathered up linen and silks at for 5 new reproduction samplers I’m charting! What an absolutely amazing group of ladies I got to meet while there too! Jean Lea, Nancy, and Carolyn were all so helpful and nice!
We were there for 4 hours picking the perfect silks and linen 😍 The girls were so well behaved the whole time and I could’ve stayed a few more hours 😂 I’ll share more sneak peeks soon!

Whyyy haven’t I finished this one yet? Seriously, I have probably 400 or less stitches to go and it’s just been sitting here for a couple of weeks now 😅 I’m guessing it’s because I can’t stop starting new things 😂

While we were camping my $9 clip on light was perfect! I was hesitant to buy it into because for $9 my expectations were quite low. But it was perfect and exactly what I needed!

I’m loving every single bit about charting this old sampler. From what info I’ve been able to find I believe it’s from about 1820ish. I NEED to take a trip to to select the perfect silk palette for it!

Project #2 for the day was to get some stitches in on this tiny little thing! I almost have a flag!! 🇺🇸

Going against my strongly held belief that the frog should never come into my house…. I didn’t like the original green so I picked a new one for the leaf and stem.

I gave myself instructions not to start Martha Walmsley 1847 until I finished at least 3 WIPs. So far I’ve finished one and this one is getting closer!

This is probably the worst way to stitch a sampler, but I skipped all around down the rows so I could get to stitching the little girl quicker 😅 just a few more leaves and I’ll be able to start on her!
