illed with ambition, I decided to leave home at 16. Despite my love for my mother, I felt constrained by the life laid out for me on the farm. So, I left my mom a note and set off on a journey to the big city.

I didn't plan to return. Back then, I thought I wouldn't miss my mom, let alone the old farm, but I was wrong. Fast forward almost 15 years, and I stood on the doorstep of the house where I had spent all my childhood.
