Farmington, CT-based consulting engineering firm is looking for a part-time bookkeeper/administrative assistant to join our team. This role requires an individual familiar with accounting principles, is detail orientated, and produces highly accurate work. About 20 hours per week.
Qualifications
· Proven experience in Bookkeeping and/or accounting roles (understands financial statements and general ledgers)
· Experience processing payroll using Paychecks
· Experience with QuickBooks Accounting Software.
· Strong attention to detail and ability to learn new systems.
· Strong understanding of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
· Possesses strong administrative and organizational skills with a high attention to detail.
Ability to communicate clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing.
