In this camp, youth will learn how to use a sewing machine to complete a standard size pillowcase, then they will use a pattern to create their very own pair of lounge pants, then the final project will cumulate with a letter pillow. Our one-week special class, Driver's Education for Spanish Speakers, is off to a great start! Students are studying the Spanish driving manual and learning about common mistakes with the help of their teacher. Students are also discussing their experiences of taking the written exam, practicing important vocabulary that will be needed for the driving test, and learning about possible career pathways such as Commercial Driver's License.
This class is taught by a certified Driver's Education instructor who is fluent in Spanish and will be offered again in the future. If you would like to be put on the waiting list for the next session, please text ‪(507) 301-7209‬.
