Hey everyone! We are extremely short-staffed and need your help to support our furry friends. 🐶🐱
There are plenty of ways you can pitch in:
🧺 Folding and organizing laundry: Help keep our laundry in order by folding and placing it in its designated area.
🚶♂️ Walking dogs:Take our dogs for a stroll, giving them much-needed exercise and a break from the kennel.
🧼 Cleaning dog kennels: Ensure our dog kennels are clean and comfy, which involves some light cleaning and maintenance. Greatest need in this area is 9am-11am or 3pm-5pm
🐱 Cleaning in the cat room: Assist with keeping our cat room tidy, which includes light cleaning and, of course, snuggling cats and kittens. This volunteer opportunity is mostly needed from 9am-11am.
📸 Taking photos of available cats: Capture the perfect pictures of our cats so they can be posted online to find their forever homes.
🐾 Assisting with cleaning at Petsmart: Help keep our Ramsey St Petsmart cat adoption location clean and welcoming for potential adopters. Typically, we like to have this completed before noon.
🚗 Transporting animals to rescues: Be a hero by driving animals to rescue organizations where they can find loving homes.
Your time and efforts can make a world of difference for our animals in need. If you can help, please reach out to our Volunteer Coordinator at [email protected]
Thank you, Cumberland County community, for your continued support! 🙏

Resharing our post from January 31, 2023. We are one day late on this, but two years ago on July 1, 2022 the Fayetteville Police Department shot and killed 22 year old Jada Johnson while she was experiencing a mental health crisis. Recently, the City of Fayetteville, NC Government voted to provide legal representation for the two police officers who killed her, Sergeant Timothy Rugg and Officer Zacharius Borom. We are disgusted by this Council’s decision to use taxpayer money to defend her murderers in the civil lawsuit against them. The vote was 10-10. Every single one of them voted in favor of it. We will not stop until there is !
