We are thankful for Kanesha's dedication and heart for serving others!

It has been wonderful to grow my network (and friendships) with so many people whose hearts are in the same place. We all see the value in investing in our local community and spreading kindness where it is most needed. I am thankful to be apart of this group and to learn about other areas in my community where I can impact change."

What I love most about C3 is that it brings nonprofits and other community organizations together to utilize their resources best and find ways to collaborate. I've lived in so many different places, but I can tell you this: Fayetteville is an amazing place to be with so many people trying their best to help those in need. This is the best community I have lived in so far. I'm excited for what we can accomplish TOGETHER!"

Our member spotlight this week is Melode Dickerson with Cape Fear Cert. Melode is from Cocoa, FL.
Melode started Hope Mills CERT with her husband in 2017. In 2019, the Fayetteville Fire Department wanted to join forces, so she changed the name to Cape Fear CERT. Melode loves volunteering and this program seemed to be a perfect fit since she is a Florida girl and used to dealing with hurricanes.

We volunteer in our community, so I look for possible opportunities to help other nonprofits. We come across a lot of people by volunteering in the community and it helps knowing where we can send someone that may need help. C3 is an amazing group."
