It's been a busy week! Between visiting the new school, signing paperwork, and getting ready for UMO Ag Fest! Excited to see almost 2,000 students tomorrow and share my knowledge/skills of my craft. Thank you to the university for allowing me the opportunity to showcase my craft and to teach students about alternative career options.

Teaching has and will always be my passion. Getting the opportunity to teach leather craft is an honor that I would have never imagined to be possible.

Listen to your agriculture teachers! Your SAE may lead you to pursue your passions and start your own business!

My stomach was in knots this morning as I drove to the symposium to teach students about my craft. I hope everyone enjoyed crafting their own leather keychains! Thank you Dr. Cariveau, Dr. Davis, Dr. Maddox and the UMO students for making this a memorable experience!

Huge shoutout to @umoagriculture for hosting such an amazing event! They had outdoor cooking, fly tying, reptiles & mammals, archery, wildlife law enforcement, trapping, and leather crafting. The students had a blast and were eager to learn. Thank you to everyone involved and I’ll see you guys in March for #umoagfest Congrats to the raffle winners today! I hope to see that belt in the spring at Ag Fest! Can’t forget the folks that made this possible! @makersleathersupply thank you for supplying the ear tags for today’s event!

Excited for tomorrow’s adventure. As a UMO alumni, I am proud to give back to my alma mater by teaching a leather crafting class at the university! I look forward to sharing my passion for leather craft and education with all attendees at the University of Mount Olive Agriculture Outdoor and Wildlife Symposium!
