After each joint is properly fitted the frame is taken apart and wood glue is applied to create a strong bond. Then all joints are put together and secured with a heavy-duty screw or dowel. After the glue has dried the frame is ready to be sanded and stained or finished.

Each joint is dry fitted into position to ensure each joint is properly cut. If a joint does not fit a chisel is used to cut away excess material.

To prepare cutting the joints a marking tool is used to precisely mark the cut positions. After marking the position of each cut the joints are ready to be made.

The first step of creating you project starts with the milling process. First, two sides of the board are jointed. Using the two jointed sides cut the opposing sides making all side flat. Lastly cut the end of each board making the board square on all four sides.

We design our products on a 3-D designing program called Sketch-Up. We use this program to make custom furniture and create the thoughts our customers have. Taking this extra step helps create plans to build the perfect products.
