There is no easy way to say this
I was almost open. I almost had all the permits and inspections finished
But due to complications we lost our location and healthy hippie won’t be open in the near future. I’m not giving up but I need time to build my capitol back.
Thank you everyone for all the support and help through this wonderful journey.
I couldn’t me more sorry for what happened but one day healthy hippie will be able to come to life. The universe has great things in store.
I’ll see you one day soon Fayetteville. I’m not giving up

Meet the founder: Shelby Elizabeth

1. Why do you want to start this company here in Downtown Fayetteville, and why now? 
-I have worked, managed, and opened multiple shops in a few places in Harnett county and I loved it. I wanted to expand and have my own out here. I also served downtown at blue moon cafe and got to know some amazing people that I want to surround myself with.

Why NOW? 
NOW is the time where we all need a positive, stress-free, enjoyable place to spend time with old, and new friends alike(while fueling our body with amazing nutrition) I’ve also always wanted to create a safe space for people to come in and just be around good vibes and energy. 

2. What motivates you? 
-my cats and lizard, my future, making my my family proud, and meeting all sorts of new people. I never give up when I set my mind to something. I give my 110% to everything I believe in. I’ve wanted healthy hippie from day 1 of working behind the bar at my very first store, too good to be healthy. Every step I’ve taken has been for this. 

3. What do you do with your free time? How do you unwind?
-I like to watch movies on the couch with my boyfriend and cats, hiking, the beach is probably my favorite, and driving my bowiemobile around 
4. How do you deal with stress and big challenges?
- Personal development is a big area I try focus on. I have Business Mentors that help me to navigate through! I have an amazing support system and friends here to help me through it. I know I’m not alone. I try to believe that every challenge has the ingredients to create a MAJOR break-through! So looking at it like that, it helps when the tough times try to break me down!

5. What do you think I’d be most surprised to find out about you?
- no one is surprised that I love David Bowie but that’s a fact I had to put in here! But I am a mega sci fi nerd, I love reading books, cliff jumping, swimming, and I sing horribly but I’ll never stop loving every second of it. Growing up through all my teenage years I was in a professional choir! I am also originally from Erie, Pennsylvania!!! I moved here on my 21st birthday!

Almost done! Furnishing now, getting inventory in, and setting up the last bit of permits!!!!!

I got Pac-Man for everyone to play on the laptop bar. Once I open, y’all can have as much fun as you want!

Buildout is finally finished, furniture is coming very soon, I have half of it here. The ice machine will be here soon. And I have to decorate! All that’s left is a couple permits!!! I will have a date to open very very soon. Thank you so much for your patience!!!!

We are almost there y’all. Just a few more things to do! I can’t tell y’all how much I appreciate your patience while we’ve been doing this. I will try to have an opening date soon I promise!

Soon we will be open. I can not apologize enough for the dates to continuously be pushed back but I promise I am doing everything in my power to open as soon as possible. I haven’t given up yet so don’t give up on me ♥️

I was on the weekly team growth call! It’s been a while since I been able to be on one and let me tell you that these are LIFE CHANGING. every single week I learn new things to better my amazing career and to better myself.
I’ve missed these and I’ve missed the positivity. I know I can’t be on every week anymore but I’m happy I get to be there for it even if it’s once in a blue moon.
