Good Morning! I finally received my concrete entryway table lamp and I love it!! I don't actually have a true entryway so I'm using the table and mirror to create one. And because it is a small area I have to use decor pieces that doesn't make it look too busy. Happy Decorating 🌞💖

💜 Spring Front Porch Makeover 💜

Happy Easter Weekend Guys! I have a haul to share! OMG TJMAXX has so many beautiful decor pieces! I bought the fairy figurine for my fairy garden, the vessel for my coffee table, and the rattan basket for under my entryway table. I also got a bunch of stuff from Amazon. I'm planning on creating a small container garden/fairy garden. That cute little wagon was a steal and could be used for different seasons! The concrete lamp is for the entryway table and I bought some pretty faux stems and real foliage as well. The real foliage will be a part of the garden. I'm super excited!

A Walmart Find! I'm going to try my hand at a container garden. My daughter Asira loves roses and I love the shade of color that this catmint has. And the fern will be the perfect filler. I have to get at least 1 more pot. My front porch garden area is not that big and full of weeds so it's going to be a project. I live in a rental home and cannot do what I really want to do.....water fountain, rose bushes, shrubs, etc. Wish me luck! Any tips are appreciated!

Spring Refresh 🌷
Home Decor came from Amazon, IKEA, Walmart and Etsy! I'm slowly adding Spring touches throughout my home. The cosmos are my absolute favorite stem for Spring! I got inspiration for my florals from YouTuber Hannah Naylor. I absolutely love her channel! And I get the best ideas for Thrift Store Flips from YouTuber Lisa Birmingham! I love her channel as well! For amazing inspiration and motivation follow them on YouTube! I promise you won't regret it!

🎶 It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas.....at my house 🏠. I have finally unpacked my boxes and was able to find most of my Christmas decor. We moved to a house this September and it was a lot of work! I will show more as I finish each room. So far I have the living room decorated and I love it! I absolutely LOVE elves so the "theme" for the living room is 'Santas Workshop' complete with all the elves I have collected over the years. Some came from Hobby Lobby, Craft outlet and the 2 biggest ones are from LTD Commodities. My Nativity figurine is from Hobby Lobby as well. I revamped my Christmas Wreath and Sign from last year and will probably get some poinsettias to place by the front door. Happy Christmas Decorating Everyone 🎄🦌🎅☃️

Family Vacation: Spring Break

We had such a great time! My son and his fiance came down with their daughter London Bea. We had good food, fun times and even better...we made memories that will last forever! Cherish your family. London Bea loved the little bunnies I had around the house. And My Garrick has proclaimed that she is his favorite girl cousin lol. Here are some pictures of our celebration. P.S I had to do a photo shoot with the tiniest fairy of them all 💞

💜Good Morning! I'm almost finished with the transformation! I have to add different k***s and think I found some at Hobby Lobby. This is the cedar wood armoire I found at my local thrift store. I only paid $30 for it. I used Rust-Oleum chalk paint in Chiffon Cream and added wooden appliques that I bought from Amazon. I went to Home Depot to get wood to make shelves as well. Stay tuned!

🎶 It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas 🎶........wait it's not even Thanksgiving yet! Lol 😆 Before you all think I'm crazy let me explain. There's 2 things that you need to know about me. I'm what you call an extreme planner AND I absolutely LOVE Christmas for all the obvious reasons.

I'm also my Mother's daughter. She bought Christmas gifts throughout the year as she saw them go on sale etc. So I usually start planning my Christmas Theme before Thanksgiving (awkward cough) around say October. And yes I know this is excessive but I love it!

It all starts with a theme. Then a list to keep me on track. And to remind me of what I still need to get. I know a lot of people get stressed out about the Christmas Holidays so I decided to share my method of keeping my sanity. Below is SOME of my actual Christmas 2021 list. And yes I do make a list for every season. Welcome to my world!

🍂It's Fall Y'all 🍂

As the Autumn season sets in so do some beautiful changes. It’s a time when colors change, moods change, and weather changes. Here are some reasons why Fall is one of the greatest seasons ever!

The trees change color and look amazing! With the changes in temperature you will notice the leaves starting to turn a beautiful orange, red and yellow welcoming the changing season.

It’s the season for the best rainy weather – during the Autumn season rain is a signature sign fall has begun, and it gives you an excuse to dance in the rain.

Mornings are golden and may be misty – the Autumn mornings bring a wonderful misty feel that is quiet and alluring for morning walkers.

And of course, pumpkin spice everything!!You can enjoy Autumn flavors with pumpkin spiced lattes and other pumpkin-flavored food – pumpkin flavors are always a favorite for everyone, and with the changing season, you can really taste new and exciting things that are perfect for everyone to enjoy!

With the changeover in daylight saving you can enjoy a whole new extra hour – with daylight savings coming to an end you can do more things with the extra hour that you will gain.

And of course, my number 1 reason for loving Fall....my Asira's birthday is in the Autumn Season!

This year even before Fall was officially here I started decorating my home in traditional Fall colors! The colors of my youth! And I absolutely LOVE it!

Last but never least, you know that Christmas is around the corner – winter is never far away when the Fall season comes around and the feeling of excitement starts to flare up within you!

❤️ Good Afternoon Everyone! I just finished watching Olivia's Romantic Home video on YouTube and what a haul! Omg those gingerbread men and lady are absolutely adorable! I can't wait to see her Christmas Tree and decor this year! I always decorate my kitchen with the gingerbread man theme and can't wait to do so this year! I have been slowly refreshing and decluttering my house this Fall and I have found some goodies at my local thrift stores. A great tip I got from some of the YouTubers I follow (Monica Rose, Simply Home with Sherri, Rebecca Jean, and Ramon at Home) was to check out the thrift stores and antique stores for vintage items. Not necessarily Goodwill because they charge way more than what the item is worth. I found some items for Christmas, Easter, Fall and just home decor at a super low price. And to top it all off these are one of a kind items that are built to last! I still shop at TJMaxx and Hobby Lobby BUT I go to my thrift stores first! My Mom loved us all unconditionally. I see that now. Of course when I was growing up I thought she had favorites. It wasn't until I had children myself did I realize that there were no favorites. She just dealt with each of us accordingly. One of the best ways she demonstrated her love for us was by letting her life be a living testimony of her faith and her love for God. As a child I complained about her being too strict but I now know she just wanted to keep me safe. As any good parent would. She taught me how to be a good woman and a good Mom and I am forever grateful to and for her!

When my Mom first passed away I pretty much lost it. It took the love of my children and grandchildren to get me to make the first step towards healing. And my Mom came to me constantly in my dreams. That helped too. Each time I had a dream about her I wrote it down so I wouldn't forget. And discussed it with my brother and sister. She was trying to tell me something because she knew that I don't handle death well. And that's an
understatement. So my Mom knew she was going to have to tell me some things so I would be ok. This is 2 of the things she told me:

Number One: She will never be gone from us because she is a part of us and always will be because love never ends. And I know this is true because God's Word is true.

Number Two: It was high time for me to live my life according to God's Will. To think beyond myself. So not only would I be blessed but my children/ grandchildren would be blessed as well. And most importantly our Father only wants what is best for me/us so following God's Will is to my/our benefit.

So with that I made a choice. And I don't regret it. I honor God by the life I lead. I'm definitely not perfect at all! And I honored my Mom by naming my company after her. Simply Lovely Bea is named after Evangelist Willie Bea Armstead. My Mom was many things to different people but to me she is and always will be Simply Lovely in every way!

It's Fall Y'all 🍂

One of my favorite things to do in the Fall season is to watch and smell the change in the colors of the tree leaves as they fall to the ground announcing the soon to come winter. There is just something about the sound of those leaves crunching under your feet as you enjoy the autumn outdoors. It is our Father God that gave us time and seasons and we are forever grateful for them all.

But I have to admit after Christmas, I LOVE FALL MOST OF ALL! I have been busy as a bee decorating my home for the Fall season. I love the way my bedroom turned out this Fall! I used my staple color grey,of course; and for that pop of color I used mustard yellow. I absolutely LOVE that color combination!

The wreath, the bedding and the throw blanket came from Amazon. The mustard yellow pumpkins came from Hobby Lobby. I bought the ticking bedspread last year and decided to use it for Fall this year. The little accent pillow came from BJ's and the crystal twinkly pumpkins are from TJMaxx. Happy Fall Decorating Everyone 🍂🍁

🍂Good Morning! I have been busy as a bee decorating my home for the Fall season. I have always wanted to purchase a riser for my dining room table but did not want to pay the cost of some I have seen on Etsy. Then I thought "wait...why buy it when I can make it??" So I grabbed a piece of wood that I bought from the Restore Store and some little k***s and appliques from Hobby Lobby and voila...a riser was made! I already had white chalk paint so I painted it white. I plan to use it for my Fall Tablescape with some florals, pumpkins, greenery and leave picks. I absolutely LOVE it! It's the perfect size for my dining room table. Happy Fall Crafting and Decorating Everyone 🍂🍁🎃🧡

💜My Garrick came up with the idea to create his own Monopoly game! He created a blueprint and I used my Cricut Joy to make the Monopoly, By Garrick, Jail, and Start decals. We then added some stickers and words to the board then voila! MONOPOLY by Garrick! Next we are going to buy play money and make the Chance cards. This is one of the games we will play on Family Game Night.
