On or about April 3, he was assaulted at a club by a woman and a man and they cut off his braids. The woman he had no relationship prior to or after. But she pressed domestic violence charges against him. on April 5 police officers responded to an abandoned vehicle and found Cole nearby dead.

After what seems to be a very short and not very thorough investigation, they released a press release that I will also attach to this. It says that there was no play. I don’t think anybody in their right mind believes that.

One of my favorite things on Facebook is both the men and women who lead me, and the men and women who I lead are my Facebook friends. That both subordinates and superiors alike call me, Dave or David. We still communicate we still ask each other for help or for opinions. The stand-up people that defined my life especially the 24 years I spent in the military, regardless of where we were in the chain of command or the food chain. We’re just people now.

The thing about this is most people have one or two ride or die people in their life and I know that when I combine all of us together the some total of ride and die in my life and our life is in the hundreds and when I count everybody else, it’s exponential.

There’s another term that’s been used lately how many 3 AM friends do you have people don’t have any. And this will come full circle so bear with me. Rule number one was don’t lie to me. Rule number two was don’t drink and drive, and I had a sub paragraph to rule number two, which was my soldiers, had to memorize my phone number. There were times when we got released at 1700 on Friday and somebody in the platoon didn’t know my phone number by heart and we spent an extra 15 or 30 minutes they memorized it. I never got a call at 2 AM or 3 AM from the Sergeant Major asking why my soldier was arrested for DUI because I guaranteed them that if I picked them up and they threw up in my brand new Mustang they never hear about it. I would clean it up as long as they called me I would get them. Why did I do that? Because when I came into the army, my first squad was Luis Torres and when I came into the army, his number was 425-4515. Followed by, “goddamnit P, you get in trouble
you call me I’ll come get you.”

It is So awkward when strangers do this to me. And there’s no good answer. I’ve started saying “thank you for saying so”. Occasionally, if it’s a good friend, that I know well, who did not serve, I will say, “thank you for making the sacrifice worthwhile”.

For me, it’s a thing of I didn’t lose very much. Even though I was a combat engineer, and my guys were out every day I was pretty lucky and didn’t lose anybody in combat. After the fact I’ve lost five of my soldiers to su***de. And that hurts the worst I think, maybe I don’t know. I can literally I don’t know cause I don’t know what it’s like to lose somebody in combat.

The other thing is the lines in a tale of two cities. It was the best of times it was the worst of times. Combine that with. a far, far better thing that I do, than I have ever done; it is a far, far better rest that I go to than I have ever known. Those make complete sense to me now. He’s done his service to his country, and those around him, and he’s ready to face his fate with dignity

So I’m going to say this. First, this person is not a financial professional. He’s a Life Insurance salesman, and a health insurance salesman. Second, he probably can’t get his series 66 and seven. The first time pass rate for both of those is 21%. I did not pass the Siri 66 the first time. And I’m not ashamed of it because 21% right

So here’s the thing if somebody comes at you claiming to be a “financial professional“ or any other BS, besides saying, they are a licensed financial advisor they don’t have a fiduciary responsibility to you. And stockbrokers i.e. those with a series 7 license, have a best interest responsibility now as well.
