She has been with out team since January 2022, having worked as a LPN for a few decades. Most of her experience has been in dermatology, but she has also worked in pediatrics and family practice.

Fun facts: She has 2 adult children, plus 6 GRAND-children, ranging in ages from 1 year to 22 years old! She loves spending whatever time she can with her children and grandchildren. She also loves scrapbooking, traveling when she can, going to the movies and Walton Arts Center, and loves watching almost any sport, especially when the Razorbacks play! Claim to Fame? She was the first woman elected to the West Fork School Board and served five consecutive terms (30 years!).

Emily says this about 5 times a day...I hate warts! Why? They are stubborn, difficult to treat, have a high risk of recurrence, and require multiple treatments. I gladly treat them for patients daily, just know that we will have to diligently work together to eliminate these viral menaces to society!

Emily L. Staggs DCNP APRN is an Advanced Nurse Practitioner and the only Dermatology Certified Nurse Practitioner in Arkansas. She has over 14 years of experience in the dermatology area and offers a wealth of knowledge and experience for both our cosmetic and medical dermatology patients and clients.

Ryan's patient was very pleased with the removal of their keloids. The after images are 4 weeks after the shave removal and ILK injection to help reduce the size of the scar and help with inflammation.

Keloids are raised, extra growths of scar tissue that can appear on the skin after an injury has healed. They can be firm, smooth, shiny, and lumpy or ridged, and can range in color from flesh to red or purple.

Ryan Crowder PA-C has been with Advanced Dermatology & Skin Cancer Center PLLC since 2014 . He is a Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants (SDPA) Diplomat, the highest honor available as a Dermatology Physician Assistant and a patient favorite with good reason why. 💙 He's amazing!

With early detection and treatment, almost all basal cell carcinomas (BCCs) can be successfully removed without complications.

Look out for these BCC warning signs during your monthly skin self-exam. Note that on skin of color, BCC may appear as a pigmented lesion. When you can spot skin cancers early, they are easiest to treat and cure.

If you see anything new, changing or unusual on your skin, don’t hesitate to consult a dermatologist.

Shelby joined our staff in February and has been working on the Front Desk team. She is the absolute sweetest! She has come to care deeply about dermatology and the importance of skin health and skin cancer awareness.

She is a team player and is quick to say yes to helping in any way, even saying yes to helping film a reel for our social media.

Shelby aims to make all patients feel like they made the right choice when they chose us! We are very glad she chose us too!

Fun Fact: She loves trees, plants, and all things in nature! In her free time, she enjoys identifying trees and even found her cat in a tree!

Avoid scheduling cosmetic treatments and filler/toxin appointments 2 weeks before an important event.

Bruising and swelling are common side effects for many procedures. Give your skin time to heal, time for Botox or filler to show their full results, and time for any bruising or swelling to subside.

As you make lists for what to pack for dorm life for your new college student, make sure to include copies (front and back, if you don't have an extra card) of your insurance cards.

From a mom who has a college sophomore, make sure they know the insurer's full name (you'd be surprised), date of birth (yes, date of birth), and full home address of where the insured lives. There are a lot of things they leaned on you for and now may need when you can't be there. 😉

Many of my new patients tell me that a full body skin exam is scary. My goal is to make you comfortable and a skin exam easy and quick.

When you come to see me for a full body skin exam, it will not be scary. Feel free to leave on or take off as many clothing articles as you are comfortable with. Just know, the more clothes you remove, the less obstacles I have.

Besides sunscreen (my number one recommendation), my number two recommendation, and the best anti-aging treatment prescribed, is Trentinoin, also known as Retin-A.

This topical cream is applied nightly and helps with cell turnover, unclogs pores, diminishes fine lines, and helps improve sun damage. It’s a life long treatment to improve your skin appearance and skin health!

Celebrate with sunscreen! The National Council on Skin Cancer Prevention has designated the Friday before Memorial Day as “Don’t Fry Day” to encourage sun safety awareness and to remind everyone to be sun safe.

Seek the shade, especially between 10 AM and 4 PM when the sun is the strongest.

Avoid tanning and never use UV tanning beds. Try air-brushed tanning for a healthy glow.

Cover up with sun-safe clothing, including a broad-brimmed hat and UV-blocking sunglasses.

Use a broad-spectrum (UVA/UVB) sunscreen with an SPF of 30 or higher every day. For extended outdoor activity, use a water-resistant, broad- spectrum (UVA/UVB) sunscreen with an SPF of 30 or higher.

Apply 1 ounce (2 tablespoons) of sunscreen to your entire body 30 minutes before going outside. Reapply every two hours or after swimming or excessive sweating.

Keep newborns out of the sun. Only use sunscreen on babies over the age of six months.

Examine your skin head-to-toe every month. View some handy tips here on our website!

See a dermatologist at least once a year for a professional skin exam.

When considering skincare or any cosmetic treatments to improve your skin, sunscreen is an absolute must! Look for zinc or titanium dioxide, SPF 30+, Broad-Spectrum, and medical grade.

Sunscreen helps preserve skin and prevent damage from UV rays and prevents skin cancer. The earlier the better to begin wearing sunscreen regularly as it will prevent skin from premature aging as well.

The frequency of skin exams depends on your personal risk factors and history of skin cancer.

The Skin Cancer Foundation recommends seeing a dermatologist once a year, or more often if you are at a higher risk of skin cancer.

Healthdirect suggests that if you're at a high risk of skin cancer, you should see your doctor for a full skin check every 6 months.

We recommend a yearly in office exam for most patients and self skin checks at home monthly. Pick a day and do it every month. Birthday is the 3rd? Do a skin self s=check each month on the 3rd.

If you see something NEW, CHANGING or UNUSUAL, get checked by a dermatologist right away.

This includes:
A growth that increases in size and appears pearly, transparent, tan, brown, black, or multicolored.
A mole, birthmark or brown spot that increases in size, thickness, changes color or texture, or is bigger than a pencil eraser.
A spot or sore that continues to itch, hurt, crust, scab or bleed.
An open sore that does not heal within three weeks.

Don't wear makeup to your appointment. If you are coming for a routine skin exam, we need to see all of your bare skin. If you are coming for cosmetic treatments, you should arrive with clean skin to save time and extra steps.

As a Registered Medical Assistant since 2016, Aly joined our staff in July of 2020. She has been an integral part of Dr. Lindley’s team, assisting with general, surgical and cosmetic dermatology patients.

Her motivation to become a Licensed Aesthetician came from her love for dermatology, the fulfillment that comes from providing patients with the results they’re seeking, and her complete love of skincare and all things beauty.

Aly, as our first bilingual Aesthetician, is excited to provide a truly amazing experience to both our Spanish and English-speaking clients!

In April of 2021, Kat began working for us as an amazing member of Andrea Thompson PA-C’s team.

Because of her passion for the Dermatology field, she decided to further expand her career and train to be a medical aesthetician. In 2023, she graduated from Academy of Professional Cosmetology as a Licensed Aesthetician and began her career as a medical aesthetician, work she truly loves.
