Science experiment fun!

Spring has Sprung in the STEMsations Garden! Our potatoes, garlic, and onions are sprouting!

We love when the student becomes the teacher. We have all different ages working together to teach each other chess.

Last Friday the kiddos helped pick dandelion petals off stems. Today they get to enjoy the fruits of their labor.

First day of planting! We started with our potatoes, some of which our generous neighbors donated. We also separated roots and soil, which the kids loved!

Today we broke ground on a new seedling garden. The kiddos had a blast aerating the soil.

We took the class out to play some kickball this morning and there was Henbit all over the field.

The best part is our older students remembered it from last year when we made infusions.

Even a false spring is a good reason for happiness. 😊
