Over the weekend I set out for a hike to catch some amazing views I came across while googling trailer out here in Chatt. Took the trail once but took a wrong turn, before. Remembered on the trail to sunset rock on Lookout Mtn. And definitely got what I came for...views and mental clarity. It was worth every step amd minute.

😋 How good was this homemade tabbouleh and chickpea salad I made with ingredients right out of the garden and cupboard? After having some tabbouleh yesterday I did some research on the ingredients and said I'll be dang! This is all accessible right now! So I got in my creative bag and whipped this up, added some that basil, fresh basil, herbs and spices along with my new Seamoss Balsamic vinegarette salad dressing for additional taste and I TELL YOU WHAT! This is good! Way too good actually for it to be the first time. Gotta make this a weekly regular now or whenever the parsley grows back in the garden 🤭🤭...
Ingredients:
Parsley
Basil
Herbs and seasoning of your choice- at least the trifecta of garlic, onion, and black pepper powders

My good friends over at sent me a sweet package to try out! Their product consists of these cool berries called ledidi berries that turn anything sour to sweet after chewing! HOW COOL!? 🍓😋

Jah bless, my large tropical fruit box has arrived from . Time to get creative with new recipes for my egg fruit and more! What's your favorite tropical or exotic fruit? Upset I didn't get a cacao this go round, but the massive mangoes and passionfruit will make up for that very quickly. Avocado so big I think I'll make guacamole and have enough to have avocado toast for 2 weeks straight!

As many know the key to weight loss goals is either the switching up of the diet completely or decreasing the caloric intake. When eating raw fruits and vegetables there isn't a limit as to how much to ingest because they lack calories while packing in vitamins, minerals, and fiber. As one preceptor put it. You can't eat 2000kcal of veggies and fruit before your stomach puts a pause on it. Nothing like re-using leftovers for a new meal the next day. Took last night's tandoori chicken, shredded it, and threw it in the pan with fresh herbs and greens from the garden for stuffed potatoes tonight.

Who doesn't love a good TJmaxx find? Psyllium husk are a great source of fiber. As fruit and vegetables become more expensive. Picked fresh from the garden to make sauteed kale for dinner. Wow just cutting it up gives off a much more vibrant smell in contrast to the store-bought bagged kale. What does that mean family?
Plants and fruits possess some very special properties. In particular their antioxidant diversity. Curcumin is good for its chemopreventive properties along with other types in its family. Lignans are great for breast cancer While all of these are good for prostate cancer and overall prevention and remission of cancer. While other key factors are important like fiber intake and lifestyle choices. It's key to make sure the body is not hosting cancerous matter for too long in the body by way of lack of exercise, poor excretion, and overindulgence of processed foods to name a few.
Dinner was too good last night.
The salad is a mix of kale and spinach with peppermint leaves and Thai basil leaves that I grabbed out of the garden to chop up and mix with some dressing and mangoes. Wanted to do my famous balsamic vinegarette but ran out of balsamic. Then as you see we paired that with some salmon and corn on the cob that needed to be eaten up.
