We are more than halfway through the month of November which means you still have time to donate to our clothing drive and toy drive! Find the appropriate boxes around the McLean Health Sciences Building!
Meet our Communication Coordinator!
My name is Lexus Freeman, I am from Robeson County, North Carolina. I am a member of the Lumbee Tribe, which is the largest Native American tribe east of the Mississippi River. I joined COTAD to help create a safe space for all my peers and future clients to express all topics and concerns while promoting justice, equity, and inclusion.
Join us on tomorrow!

Last week, our MU COTAD Chapter hosted a Women’s Reproductive Health Event that focused on educating and promoting more information about women's health. Thank you to everyone who attended our event!
Meet our chapter Treasurer, Alexus Alston!
Alexus is from Broadway, North Carolina. Growing up, Alexus wanted to be a physical therapist until she learned about occupational therapy.
Why Alexus joined COTAD: On our journey to becoming occupational therapists and even after, we will all encounter individuals from various backgrounds and upbringings different from our own. Being a part of COTAD presents me with the opportunity to enhance my knowledge of multiple cultures, ethnicities, and essential topics, which will help me promote justice, inclusivity, diversity, and equity as I encounter such individuals.
Please join us next Tuesday to discuss women's reproductive health! We hope to see you there.
