Kindergarten Families,

We are excited to be using Class Dojo as our school-wide PBIS (positive behavior intervention system) this year! Emails have been sent out this morning inviting you to sign up. If you didn't receive the invitation email, please reach out and let me know!

This mobile application will allow you to track your student's daily behavior, help build communities by sharing photos, videos and updates. Most importantly, it will be another source for you to communicate with your child's teacher!

We are so incredibly thankful for all of our blessings we’ve had in Kindergarten, amid the challenges the health crisis has put on everyone’s families. We finished off the week making our blessing mix with all the wonderful donations provided to our classroom from students’ families!

Today, I’m grateful for my students, colleagues, my family, friends, and importantly, our health!

All week we’ve been learning about the election and the importance of voting in our country. We know the political parties and candidates. Today, we registered to vote, stood in line, presented our voter ID card and even got to vote in the presidential election! Every student got the opportunity to cast their ballot.

We ended our day by talking about what we would do if we were president. We had lots of great responses!

It’s a great day to be in Kindergarten, but even a greater day to be an American🇺🇸
