We are excited to be using Class Dojo as our school-wide PBIS (positive behavior intervention system) this year! Emails have been sent out this morning inviting you to sign up. If you didn't receive the invitation email, please reach out and let me know!

This mobile application will allow you to track your student's daily behavior, help build communities by sharing photos, videos and updates. Most importantly, it will be another source for you to communicate with your child's teacher!

Fayetteville Public Schools to continue mask requirement through school year Fayetteville Public Schools will continue their COVID-19 safety protocols, including requiring masks for students, staff, and anyone entering a school building for school activities, officials announced on Tuesday.

Domino Pizza Cards!

Our PTO has organized a fundraiser to support our school. The Pizza Cards are $10 and allow for a free pizza each time you purchase a pizza. The cards work for all of 2021 at Domino's Pizza locations across our nation. Students will earn prizes for selling cards and the top seller will earn $100! REMINDER! The Fayetteville Police Department is teaming up with many local organizations to hold a Kids Wellness Fair this Saturday, March 6th from 10 am-4 pm.

This event will have free dental cleaning kits, a free mobile video gameplay truck, free sports physicals, camp sign-ups, free ice cream, and so much more! We will also be giving out vouchers for free shoes from Academy Sports+Outdoors!

Fayetteville Schools closed for snow day Wednesday Fayetteville Public Schools officials today announced that all schools are closed and no virtual classes are scheduled for this Wednesday, Feb. 17.

The 100th Day of School is always a fun celebration, but even more so this time around! We celebrated this enormous accomplishment but hearing a special story from Mr. Craft, painting, and looping 100 Froot Loops through yarn to make a decorative necklace!

Happy New Year! I hope you are spending the last few days of winter break with your loved ones. Please remember that Monday, January 4th and Tuesday, January 5th are virtual learning days. We are so incredibly thankful for all of our blessings we’ve had in Kindergarten, amid the challenges the health crisis has put on everyone’s families. We finished off the week making our blessing mix with all the wonderful donations provided to our classroom from students’ families!

Today, I’m grateful for my students, colleagues, my family, friends, and importantly, our health!

All week we’ve been learning about the election and the importance of voting in our country. We know the political parties and candidates. Today, we registered to vote, stood in line, presented our voter ID card and even got to vote in the presidential election! Every student got the opportunity to cast their ballot.

We ended our day by talking about what we would do if we were president. We had lots of great responses!

It’s a great day to be in Kindergarten, but even a greater day to be an American🇺🇸

This week we are learning about autumn and exploring the different colored leaves. We went out on a hunt for red, yellow, orange and green leaves to compare them. We loved the extra fresh air!

This week was so much fun! We learned about how apples grows, Johnny Appleseed, parts of an apple and so much more! We finished off this great week making and eating homemade applesauce. Thank you families for your donations to our apple unit🍎

We love to paint in Kindergarten! Today, we worked on writing and recognizing our names by using a Qtip and paint to help us learn. Not only is this a fun activity but it also helps develop our fine motor skills!
