I am SO excited!! I’m getting ready to head to the Denver Gem Show…. For the first time ever!! Crazy right?! I’ve been going to gem shows for 5 years now, but the Denver show has always eluded me. It has been tough time of year for our schedule 😅. But this year I am making it happen, while Jon is staying here and doing some discount live sales for you all 🎉

Let me know what you are hoping I bring back with me! I love knowing what you all are looking for as I shop. Also if anyone has any Denver tips, I am all ears! I’ve actually never even been to Colorado, so I am excited for that too.

Check out these funky little agates!

I grabbed some of the coolest agate pebbles at the gem show! They are all so different it’s hard to pick a favorite. A lot of unique combos like orca carnelian and they are all super affordable. 🎉

Have you ever seen nature’s racing stripes?!

Ocean Jasper never ceases to amaze me! This special batch of Kabamby Ocean Jasper has a special pink “racing stripe” pattern. A must have for any OJ collection!

Ocean Jasper has 2 main deposits in northwestern Madagascar. One is directly on the shoreline near the village of Marovato. The second, where these palms are from, is about a mile and a half inland near the village of Kabamby. Each location has unique characteristics, with Kabamby being known for its consistent green and yellow colors. Recently more colorful deposits have been coming from the Kabamby area with these gorgeous pinks.

These will be launching on our live sale this Wednesday at 11am EST! We also snagged 3 big spheres of that and they are on our “available” story highlight right now 🤗

What a week!!! The last 8 days have been filled with good rocks, great people and lots of fun.

We got to explore the area here in Franklin. Visited a gem mine and gem museum. Then we scored some awesome rocks at the gem show and caught up with our favorite vendors and fellow crystal shops.

We also added some epic pieces to our personal collection I can’t wait to share! (You can spy one in these pics 😉)

We just finished loading up our huge haul and will head back to Fayetteville tomorrow! We are looking forward to hanging out with you all next week Wednesday for our gem show live 🎉 See you all soon and thanks for following along on our adventures!

From one adventure to the next! 🎉

I’m back from Tucson and my books for gemology school with GIA were waiting for me!! I just started their Graduate in Colored Stones program and am so excited 🤗. I’ll be taking online classes and traveling to New York for the gem lab classes this year.

2024 has already been a whirlwind of a year and we are so excited for what is to come!! Thank you all so much for the support as we learn and grow ❤️

How awesome are these?!

We have beautiful fine silver heart pendants made with wings from Blood Red Glider. Nugent Jewelry partners with butterfly sanctuaries around the world to create these special pieces. The wings are collected with respect after a butterflies life cycle has ended naturally. ❤️

These gorgeous pendants are perfect for Valentine’s Day and will be available on our story today and in tomorrow’s live sale. 🤗

This weekend we are closing one of the biggest chapters in our life so far. 8 years ago we opened a retail store and it has been the most amazing, challenging and rewarding things we have ever done. To be honest, letting this little piece of me go has been more difficult than I ever imagined. The good, the bad, the ups & downs… I wouldn’t trade it for anything.

Our retail store is closing its doors this Saturday. While there is a big sense of loss, we are also looking forward to the future and what this means for our journey. We have big plans for New Moon Minerals and are so excited to see where this journey continues to take us! We plan on traveling more, learning more, creating great relationships with our suppliers and miners and delivering an incredible experience for our customers. Our customers mean the world to us, both here and at and we can’t thank you all enough for the support that has brought us to the beautiful time in our lives. We can’t wait to start this new chapter with you all!

With that being said, next week’s live sale is going to be super unique!! We are going to be bringing over inventory from our storefront and doing a clearance live sale. There will be crystals and products from our store. So if you haven’t ever been to Fayetteville to visit our store, next week will be a little taste of that experience!

‼️ Important Live Sale (& Jon) update!! 👇🏼

First, we wanted to wish you all a belated Merry Christmas! 🎄 Second, we have to reschedule this week’s live sale to next Wednesday, January 3rd.

Jon had a little too much fun celebrating the Green Bay Packer win on Christmas Eve and thought he was a professional scooter 🛴 racer….. and fell off breaking and dislocating his shoulder 😅

We spent the rest of the night Christmas Eve in the Charlotte ER, and then Christmas morning he had surgery to have some metal plates put in his shoulder. ☹️ He was released yesterday and is at home recovering today.

Please send him alll the good vibes, he will take all the good energy you can give! To give him some time to heal we decided to push the live sale back a week but I am still here packing orders and getting everything all set! So just hang in there with us if we don’t get to messages as quick as usual. I’ll be doing my best to keep things going here this week while also taking care of my daredevil patient 😆.

Thank you all so much for your understanding!! Situations like this are always tough for a small business but we’re going to do our best to get through it and be back in full force for 2024 ❤️

I can’t stop sharing all these beautiful jewelry sneak peeks! This is some of the best quality jewelry we’ve ever had and with Christmas around the corner, we knew it was the perfect time to bring it ALL out for a massive jewelry live sale this Wednesday.

To answer a few FAQs we’ve been getting:

•Everything will be on the live sale first. If you miss it, we will post a replay and you can message us Thursday about any specific pieces you’re looking for.
•They are all sized rings. Most have size 5-10 but it may vary depending on the stone and what was available.
•Almost everything is under 100 with the exception of a few rare stones.
•They are all Sterling Silver or 18k Vermeil gold.
•A full scan of the table will go up on our story Tuesday afternoon.

Let me tell you a little bit about these rings too. They are all sized rings made from a proprietary blend of 92.5 sterling silver that contains a little bit of gold and minimal copper. We also have beautiful rings in 18k Vermeil Gold! Most gold plated rings are over copper and only .5 microns thick. Vermeil gold is plated over 92.5 Sterling silver and at least 2.5 microns thick. Making these some of the best gold pieces we have ever carried. We priced them all super well too! Almost all the rings will be under 100 🤗 with the exception of a few extra special rare stones I snagged!
