Manifold Grace
Manifold Grace is the Disaster Relief Ministry of Simply the Truth Ministries
Good afternoon friends. We would like to ask for your prayer support. We are leaving tomorrow afternoon with a team headed to Angleton Texas. We will be working with Samaritans Purse in the ongoing recovery effort from Hurricane Beryl.
A few pictures from last week in the Savannah Georgia area. It is very sad to go through an area and see everyone's belongings at the curb. The great part was what God Has done. There were 9 people that were saved there last week.
We are on our way back from serving with Samaritans Purse this week in Savannah Georgia. It was a great honor to serve there. Three of the five families we served were military families.
We would like to ask for your prayers. Tammy and I are leaving Sunday afternoon going to Savannah Georgia. We will be serving with Samaritans Purse. We will be doing flood recovery. Please pray for all those who have been affected by the flooding from hurricane Debby.
We’ve been working in the Columbia area the past few days. Working yesterday in this area. That house gives a whole new meaning to outdoor kitchen.
We just wanted to let everyone know that our new website design is up and running. please check it out and let us know what you think. simplythetruthministries.org
We would also like to say THANK YOU to Billy and the great folks at Yebma Digital for their work on the site.
We just wanted to let everyone know that we will have a booth this Saturday at the Host of Christmas Past. We will be on the north side of the courthouse lawn. Come by and check us out. We will have some of those "Love Your Neighbor" T-Shirts.
Last week we served in Perry Florida with Samaritan's Purse. We were a team of 8 with all but 1 being from Lincoln Baptist Church. The other one was from Kelly's Creek Baptist church. God gave us an amazing week. We were able to accomplish a lot of cleanup work and able to minister at 12 different homes. Thank You for your prayers and support. Please continue to pray for Samaritan's Purse and Florida Baptist DR as they continue to work in Florida. There is still much work to do there.
Just got back last night from serving a week with Samaritans Purse in Perry Florida. It was a great week. Samaritans Purse has a team of Chaplains that serve along with the work crews. On Monday, our chaplain had the opportunity to lead our homeowner to faith in Jesus Christ. On Tuesday The homeowner also accepted the Lord. The amazing thing about him was that he was in his 60s and had been a muslim all his life. I met a homeowner on Friday named Teresa. Please pray for her. She has storm damage to her home, she was just diagnosed with breast cancer and will be having surgery Oct. 3rd. She has some other things dragging her down and said that she just wants to give up. Please pray for God's grace and mercy in her life. We met several widows (One 97 years old living by herself) that have been affected by this storm and in need of help. I Thank God that Samaritans Purse and Southern Baptist DR is there bring help and hope in Jesus Name. Please continue to remember this area and these people in your prayers, almost every home in Perry has some form of damage, for many it is only tree damage, but many have roof damage. The greatest thing is that many are coming to know Jesus because of the work of His church.
"Love your neighbor as yourself" Jesus
We would like to ask for your prayers. We will be leaving Sunday morning going to Perry Florida. We will be working in the recovery effort from Hurricane Idalia. We will be serving with Samaritans Purse.
We are in the process of adding another focus to our Disaster Relief Ministry. We are adding a Quick Response Team. This will enable us to respond quicker when disasters happen. We have begun construction of a storage building. This building will enable us to collect, store and stage supplies for disaster victims.
Had the honor of serving with the DR team from Grace Baptist Church in Knoxville this past week in the Bartlett Tennessee area cleaning up after storms there a couple of weeks ago. Had a great week ministering the Love of Jesus.

We spent this past week in Selma Tennessee working to help residents clean up after 2 tornadoes on the same night. We had a team from the William Carey Baptist Association serve as a feeding team and recovery team. I would like to say a big THANK YOU to Alice Jones, Charlotte Quesnell, Mary Wright, Tina Gault, Larry Quick, Ryan Tate, Josh McBride, Josh Mansfield and Chris Hamby for your service to our Lord Jesus Christ.
Matthew 28:1 Now after the Sabbath, as it began to dawn toward the first day of the week, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary came to look at the grave. 2 And behold, a severe earthquake had occurred, for an angel of the Lord descended from heaven and came and rolled away the stone and sat upon it. 3 And his appearance was like lightning, and his clothing as white as snow. 4 The guards shook for fear of him and became like dead men. 5 The angel said to the women, “Do not be afraid; for I know that you are looking for Jesus who has been crucified. 6 He is not here, for He has risen, just as He said. Come, see the place where He was lying. 7 Go quickly and tell His disciples that He has risen from the dead; and behold, He is going ahead of you into Galilee, there you will see Him; behold, I have told you.”
We made a trip today to Selma TN. to stage equipment for next week. The tornadoes path was not very wide but it was very destructive.
Wow what a crazy couple of weeks. We worked with a team from the WCBA last week in Amory Mississippi. Our plan was to be back there this week but Friday night happened.
