THIS IS FOR CUSTOMERS WHO PAY FOR TRASH PICK UP WITH CUMBERLAND GARBAGE AND TRASH, THIS DOES NOT PERTAIN TO THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE.

Due to inclement weather, the safety of our crews, flooding and road closures we will be CLOSED today. If your pick up day is Thursday it will be picked up on Friday, if your pick up is Friday it will be picked up on Saturday.

UPDATE!!!! As of now we are running on regular schedule on Wednesday 8/7/2024 and Thursday 8/8/2024. Please have your items curbside by 7am. Due to Excessive Heat related issues, our crews got behind in a few areas today. If you live in the Birch Creek, Pebble Creek, Yadkin Rd and Bragg Blvd area please leave your items curbside or have your items curbside tomorrow by 7am and they will be back in that area in the morning.

Due to Excessive Heat related issues, our crews got behind in ONE AREA today. If you live on or around Ramsey Street and you have a Monday pick up please leave your items curbside or have your items curbside tomorrow by 7am and they will be back in that area in the morning.

UPDATE and REMINDER.....We will be running on regular schedule this week including Thursday July 4th, although our office will close at noon on Thursday. Our only holidays are Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day and New Years Day.

Update: We are still experiencing phone issues, yes since June 6. They had to do some other wiring changes that had to be ordered. We had to switch carriers and our lines were over 50 years old so making sure we got our number was important!
Also we are running on Regular schedule this week! Please have all items to the curb by 7 on your pick up days. Don’t forget our only holidays are Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day and New Year’s Day!

Not the update I wanted to post but yes our phone lines are still down, every time they have set up with us they have no showed and now they are telling us tomorrow. Update - One week today and our phone lines are still down with no date given as to when they will be repaird. We have dealt with them daily and they were suppose to fix them but no one has yet to come out from Brightspeed although they tell us they are coming. In the meantime when you do call our number we have a temporary voicemail system in place, please leave your name, address, phone number and reason for your call and we will get back to you soon as possible. Update 6/12/24.... yes phone lines still out, were suppose to be fixed last night, that didn't happen, now they say they are working on it this morning but still haven't seen anyone. On a good note we were able to get our lines forwarded to a temporary voicemail line, if you happen to call our number and get the voicemail please leave your name and address and we will call you back as soon as we can, you can still email us at [email protected] or go to our website to make payments. Once again, thank you for your patience and understanding.

As of today 6/11 our phone lines are still down. We have been on the phone with them since Thursday and they have yet to fix it. They have given us so many run arounds and now they are saying it should be fixed by tomorrow and that they couldn't call forward our calls either. We understand your continued frustration and we hope you understand ours as well. We will continue to keep you updated but please continue to utilize our website cumberlandgarbage.com to make payments and our email [email protected] to contact us. Again, thank you for your understanding while we get this taken care of!

As of today 6/10 unfortunately, our phone lines are still down. We have been with Bright Speed and they told us there was an outage (which we can’t seem to find one in the area) should of been fixed Friday, then they said Saturday and it’s still not fixed and now they are saying today. We are trying to get the calls forwarded to our cells phone but bright speed is not helpful at all so we are in the process of changing to Spectrum so I can’t give a date of when they will have them up and running. This is a huge inconvenience for us and we understand how big of an inconvenience it is for you as customers as well! Once again we do apologize but unfortunately it’s out of our control. We appreciate your understanding and patience as we navigate through this!

THANKSGIVING WEEK SCHEDULE
Monday and Tuesday - Regular Household pickup as usual
If your pick up day is Thursday then it will be picked up on Wednesday.
If your pick up day is Friday then it will be picked up on Saturday.
THERE IS NO YARD DEBRIS OR RECYCLE PICK UP THIS WEEK.
If you have recycle and your recycle day is set for the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of the month it will be picked up on Wednesday November 29th.
Please have all items curbside by 7am on your pick up days!

Our office will close at noon on Wednesday Nov 22 and we will be closed Thursday Nov 23 and Friday Nov 24.

HARNETT COUNTY UPDATE - Our crews are running several hours behind in your area due to a truck issue. Please continue to leave your containers at the curb and they will get to you by the end of day. Thank you for your understanding!

Our trucks will be running on Labor Day, Monday Sept 4, and regular schedule the remainder of the week. Our office will close at noon on Monday. Please make sure to have all items curbside by 7am on your pick up days.
