Grant Update: The City of Fayetteville's Travis Alley Project is moving forward! They've officially awarded the bid and are teaming up with an engineer and architect to breathe new life into the alleyway behind the city's oldest commercial corridor!

Our community is buzzing with excitement! Once complete, this revamped space will offer safer pedestrian passage, better loading/unloading, and shared outdoor seating for 10 businesses. Plus, it’ll be a fantastic spot for special events and gatherings, boosting the downtown vibe!

Amanda Fields, our Director of Existing Industry & Workforce Development, had the opportunity to meet with educators across the state to discuss workforce needs in our Film and Creative Arts industry and tour the Lux Stage at Trilith Studios! This incredible facility features floor to ceiling LED panels in an 18,000 sf purpose-built sound stage. The group traveled from atop a city skyscraper to a beautiful beach with the click of a button!

Thanks to the grant we distributed to the Town of Woolsey, they've finalized the work on the Historic Structural Report, which will be ready in the next 30 days. They're also in the process of interviewing and selecting an architect, and have proposals from contractors to stabilize the church building. Great progress is being made!
