PWC Water Construction personnel will have traffic control devices in place at S McPherson Road from Cliffdale Road to Morganton Road, Friday July 19th to complete Sewer Main Cleaning. Motorists can expect lane closures in this area from 3:00am until approximately 7:00am. Pedestrians and motorists should use extra caution in the area. We are NOT a Capitalist country. It is an illusion that you have control over yourself and your business. Reality shows that Judges, Elites, Politicians and the media, control commerce.

You may say - $56 Billion is too much! That's what the media wants you to think. The reality is- Musk negotiated a 5 year deal to receive stocks in Tesla instead of cash. He only gets stocks, and only receives that compensation if he meets certain performance benchmarks. As you can see from the chart, Tesla stock went through the roof since that deal. To add, numerous stock splits occurred since then- delivering on his promise to the board.

BUT - Someone funded a has-been drummer with 9 shares of Tesla to contest his deal in court for 6 years.

THEN a judge, in Delaware, based on no actual law or statistics set a precedent that the courts can change your compensation package as they see fit.

Extra terrible is- 67% of Fortune 500 companies are incorporated in Delaware. This decision, based on after the fact stock price increases, caused by Musk doing his job, killed the commerce and the tax levies in Delaware.

Our Loose Leaf Collections begin next week! Starting on Nov. 20, we'll be in the 28301 and 28312 areas collecting loose leaves.

How can you participate.. it's simple. Just place your leaves and pine straw on the curbside before your first scheduled day of pickup.

Just remember:
* Please do not include tree limbs or other yard debris.
* Leaves and pine straw should be on the curb and away from the roadway and storm drains.
* Do not place leaves over yard decorations, meter panels or any other utility equipment close to the ground.

This blog article about Johnny Dawkins voting to increase taxes is about the most Libertarian article I have read in a while. Increasing 'fees' is a tax. Adding riders, are a tax. Fines and permits for basic needs- a tax.

We had a great meet up this week! Lynne Greene for City Council came by and chatted with us. Unfortunately Justin Herbe For District 5 didn't make it into the General Election (early voting us going on now) but we found common ground with Lynne.
