The Collegiate Recover Program from partners FTCC and Methodist University will recognize International Overdose Awareness Day on Saturday, Aug. 31 with a pair of events honoring the memory of those who have reached the end of their journey.
๐ A Bike Rally Kickoff will start at FTCC's Tony Rand Student Center at 4 p.m. Kickstands up at 4:10 p.m.
๐ Join us at Methodist's Matthews Ministry Center from 5-7:30 p.m. for a reception, a sharing of poetry, candlelight vigil, and the opportunity to make NARCAN kits.
These events are held in collaboration with N.C. Harm Reduction Coalition, Cumberland-Fayetteville Opioid Response Team, and Cumberland County.
