Zion turned 15 on Monday and I am still in disbelief that we have a 15 year old. I’m 5ft 10 and he’s officially taller than me and has been for awhile. I just refused to publicly admit that 😂. He allowed me to snap this with my phone just now:). designaddictmomathome

Woke up this morning to a crisp fall air. One of my favorite things to do during fall is creating cozy scenes outside with curtains, pillows, blankets etc… Almost everything pictured in these images were thrifted. 3rd pic was last year’s set up.

Being surrounded by color and greenery always help me when we return from our annual Summer trip back home to 🇯🇲. It’s always so hard to find my groove when we return, but the tropical vibrations here at sure help!!🍃🌱🌿🌿.

Also shoutout to James for taking such great care of the plants here on the porch and our quails while we were away. I used the Blumat system( I showed you in a reel last Summer) on and some other plants in the sunroom. Again that system worked beautifully. ✨✨✨

We had a LEGO birthday party over the weekend for her since she is such a LEGO fanatic. 2nd slide is the 3D backdrop I made using colorful egg cartons to mimic the look of LEGO bricks. It was worth the many hours it took to install😅

Schools are on a 2 hr early release today and there is no school tomorrow in anticipation of the wintry weather headed our way later. Though our bedroom makes it easy to pretend we’re in tropical Jamaica, especially with this new colorful bedding from , . In love!!

One of my favorite shots from ’s shoot with 🖤 Such a joyous little face! It is so much fun to see how naturally drawn kids are to the nuggets. We don’t even have to tell them to play- they just see a fun space and make it completely their own. Absolutely adore it 🖤

Wind down time and reading one of our faves. The title “You Matter” got me thinking about how crucial positive self- talk is to a child’s development especially in early childhood. I try to be intentional about modeling this for her and the boys so they’re exposed to positive thoughts and affirmations thus facilitating a strong sense of self. So very important✨✨.

You might remember when I removed the rug from the room during the summer months, but now that it’s cozy season, I’ve replaced the old rug with this beauty from AnthroLiving]. I love how it pulls the color palette together! AND I also added the velvet sculptural chair in the color Bondi also from / AnthroLiving]. 😍😍😍😍😍😍
