Petstarz Dogboarding

Things got off to a bit of a later start on the new business but are still happening. Hopefully another month or two. In the meantime, I just wanted to share a photo of a pup that a friend of mine just posted of her dog's litter. I love the unusual coloring on this mini Aussie. He is like a silver color. If there are any Aussie lovers out there that are interested let's let her know.

Hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving. The building permit was finally issued and we should be getting it all wrapped up and close to opening early Jan hopefully. Just wanted to drop you guys an update. Thanks for your patience and Merry Christmas, everyone.

My sweet beautiful Stella crossed over the rainbow Bridge yesterday. I will miss her so much. But I'm so happy that I was able to become her mom after rescuing her the day of that first picture . (Her hiding from me in those pillows cuz she was very nervous.) She was 5 years old then and I was lucky enough to spend 9 great years giving her love and getting lots of love back. RIP baby. Your with her sisters Emma & Lilly now.

Kiki loves playing with her pups ..They are all living nearby now with friends and family so we get to see them all the time..That makes Kiki happy!!

Hi everyone..just an update to let you know what has been going on with us ..Well..we were told we could stay on at the new grooming building until the end of December. I can't really say for certain ..but I think there may be a chance that the sale of the property has either been postponed or may not be happening after all. If anything does changeand somehow we are able to reopen the main building and do boarding and doggiedaycare in the future we will let you know ..For now we can only wait until we hear anything. Just wanted to let everyone know the good news that the little dog has been reunited with his owners.

Hi guys..This little guy was found last night ..He may have ran away after being scared off by fireworks. The person that found him has posted everywhere to try and find the owners . He is chipped but the contact was not updated ..He only has one eye..He is very well groomed. I'm sure someone us missing him. If you recognize him please get in touch...Ty ..

We are finished with grooming for now until we find another location. Corinna..Nadja and myself have all decided we need to take some time to ourselves and have a much needed break..I will be continuing my search for a great new location and if I find it I will of course take it and we will reopen sometime after that. We would like to thank all of you for being the best clients and for trusting your pet to us ..We have felt very blessed to have had really a dream job! And having all these... some funny. Some crazy ...dogs that made us laugh and to all the wonderful employees that have worked for me I thank you all so so much. .for your love and concern for these dogs that stayed here through out the years.
I really didn't realize how emotional this would be for me to say good bye.. But Petstarz will be closing its doors January 1st ..exactly 12 years from the day we opened. As many of you know already this ..This very large property has been for sale for several years and it is now in the process of finally being sold. I knew it was going to happen eventually and I have been without a lease but fortunately able to continue here for over 5 years since my lease ended... but it's happening now . I have not been told I have to leave right away by the owner. It will be some months b before they build here but being in limbo all these years and with the difficult year of Covid I made the decision to finally move on .. It's soooo hard ..I love my Petstarz..but I am looking and hopefully will find the perfect space to open another place. Until then we wish you all the best for 2022 and I feel confident you will be hearing from me in the very near future letting you know where a new wonderful Petstarz will be opening...We will miss you and the dogs !! I will be posting pix from the past for the next few weeks ..we have had so many awesome dogs and I have all the photos. Thanks again everyone for all your loyalty to Petstarz. It has meant so much to us.

WoW...This January will be 12 years that Petstarz has been open ..This is my niece when I first opened and her graduating from Terry Sanford High school...she in her 2nd year of college now. Time really does fly !!

When a client calls to see if you can groom a very matted yorkiepoo they just adopted from the shelter ..and you present them with their new snauzer!! They had no idea but were thrilled with their little gal snauzer..
