NOTICE: GENERAL FINISHES IS DISCONTINUING 21 MILK PAINT COLORS

Due to shifting color trends, we've reduced our Milk Paint line to the 12 best-selling colors, plus two tint bases (clear and white).

Here are the 12 colors that will remain in the Milk Paint line:

Snow White
Antique White
Linen
Lamp Black
Queenstown Gray
Perfect Gray
Seagull Gray
Basil
Persian Blue
Coastal Blue
Dark Chocolate
Tuscan Red

**Additional Info regarding the discontinued colors:

Q: Can we order the retired colors from a GF retailer as a custom tint from GF? Yes, in gallons only. (Some retailers may offer quarts. Please inquire with your retailer if that option is available)

Q: Can we purchase the gallons of base and take them to an outside source to be tinted? Yes, most commercial paint store chains and hardware chains will tint General Finishes products. GF recommends ColourFal Zero VOC colorants. If other colorants are used, they must be zero VOC, tested to your satisfaction before application to your project and used at your own risk.

Q: Can we order custom tints of the Milk Paint base in other paint brand colors from a GF retailer? Yes, in gallons only. (Some retailers may offer quarts. Please inquire with your retailer if that option is available)

Q: Can you provide a recipe for DIY mixing the available colors to obtain the discontinued colors? No, many of the colors can not be recreated with the 12 remaining colors, except Alabaster. Alabaster is a 50/50 mix of Snow White and Antique White.

Q. Can you provide a recipe for professional in store mixing of the Milk Paint bases to obtain the discontinued colors? No, our colorant database is only available to retailers that tint using colorants delivered by measured volume employing database driven volumetric software.

***DISCONTINUED COLORS WILL REMAIN IN CIRCULATION FOR A WHILE AS GF RETAILERS HAVE BEEN NOTIFIED AND GIVEN THE OPPORTUNITY TO STOCK UP. PLEASE CONTACT YOUR LOCAL RETAILER TO INQUIRE ABOUT THEIR IN HOUSE INVENTORY OF DISCONTINUED COLOR OR ABOUT SPECIAL ORDERING DISCONTINUED COLORS FOR YOU WHILE THEY'RE STILL AVAILABLE.
