An Alpha-Gal patient sent us this update a couple of months after having his SAAT needle removed:

I wanted to follow up and let you know that I have not had any reactions since the SAAT treatment. I went through the process of reintroduction with no issues. I haven't eaten a whole steak quite yet, but that is definitely in the plans. Thank you! This is such a relief.

We had some golden oyster mushrooms that decided they didn't need any special care and burst forth from the box in the clinic. I took it home and have a much larger flush happening now! Just spritz with water and watch them grow. Or don't, and they might grow anyway!

Alpha Gal. A term far too many Arkansawyers are already familiar with. Caused by a tick-bite and spreading rapidly across the U.S., Alpha Gal is an allergic reaction to mammalian products. Ingestion, external application, even inhalation of mammalian-based products can cause a mild-to-severe allergic reaction.

Hey folks, just a reminder that Fayetteville still has an indoor mask requirement for everybody. We are just as excited and relieved as you are that the CDC has ended indoor mask requirements for vaccinated people and are ready to make many changes as soon as Fayetteville's mandate is lifted.

We are all taking some vacation time May 19-26 and we are hopeful that by the time we are back in the clinic on the 27th we can make some major changes. A return to normal is just around the corner!
