Today our amazing children’s minister, Jessica Peoples, read from the book of John about Palm Sunday. Our FCC kids excitedly participated in the discussion that followed! We are so overjoyed when our kids love talking about Jesus. They finished class by making palms to wave and shouting Hosanna!

This morning, we read together from the Book of Mark. Then, the children got the chance to give thanks, break bread, and drink grape juice while learning more about The Last Supper. 🫓🧃

”While they were eating, Jesus took bread, and when he had given thanks, he broke it and gave it to his disciples, saying, “Take it; this is my body.” Then he took a cup, and when he had given thanks, he gave it to them, and they all drank from it. “This is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many,” he said to them.“

Our kiddos got to play a fun game today in preparation for their bible lesson! Before reading Matthew 21 and John 2, they had a bottle flipping race to parallel Jesus flipping tables in the temple courts. They are encouraged to memorize their bible verse of the month—Psalm 27:1—before Easter Sunday.

Sometimes, you celebrate the end of a Bible unit with a little Party Freeze Dance. 🪩 Truly, we are blessed and filled with joy to have the privilege of pouring into these future church leaders.

Today in Children’s Church, we read and discussed Matthew 25:14-30. This parable reminds us that God gives each of us talents, and He wants us to use them! We are blessed in order to pass on good things to others, and we give back to God in thanks and gratitude. In turn, He gives us more to share. 🔄

When asked about their possible spiritual gifts, these smart kiddos listed things like drawing, being a good listener, being a good sister, and singing. Praise God for all the talent in this room! 🌟

The kiddos had soooo much fun this morning thanks to our volunteer, Mr. Christian. The kids played, “Make It or Break It?” and talked about building things to please God. ☀️ We love our FCC KIDS and the grown-ups who pour their hearts into serving them.

This week featured pierogis, popsicles, and praising God for our newest member, who attended her first Bible study at just under two weeks old. 😍

Our first family Bible study of the summer was a huge hit with all of our precious kiddos… even if the rain did cut playground time short. They made the best of it with an indoor picnic. ☔️ Join us next Wednesday at 6:00!

Our Summer Family Bible Study starts next week! Join us on select Wednesdays for dinner, laughter, and some time in the Word. This is an incredible opportunity to hang out with other families. Everyone is welcome. Single/solo parents and those with kids of all ages from pregnancy through the college years are encouraged to attend!
