Equestrian Bridges is hosting its 11th annual Mini Derby fundraiser, presented by the Sazerac Company. The Mini Derby is the nonprofit’s biggest fundraiser of the year. Held on the same day as the Kentucky Derby, the Mini Derby is an adults-only event that includes the Kentucky Derby playing on a large screen, live music, in-person miniature horse racing, mint juleps, silent auction and more.

Guests are encouraged to dress in traditional derby attire with prizes awarded for best hat, best bow tie and best overall attire. 100 percent of proceeds raised at this event will stay in Northwest Arkansas to support Equestrian Bridges' mission to provide equine therapy to those in need.

WHEN: Saturday, May 6th from 4 p.m. – 8 p.m.

WHERE: Event will take place at Equestrian Bridges at 5920 South Bellview Rd. in Rogers, Arkansas.

XNA to begin $34 million terminal renovation project Northwest Arkansas National Airport (XNA) in Highfill will soon begin a $34 million terminal renovation that will include more elevators, escalators, stairwells and several other upgrades.

By city ordinance, permits will be required starting June 27, 2023 for the operation of short-term rental properties in Bella Vista. Permit applications will be available starting Feb. 1, 2023, and will be accepted starting Feb. 27 from only owners who are Bella Vista residents for the first 30 days.
