Nursing friends, I have a colleague that needs your help. Please ask all of your ESL nursing friends if they would be willing to let her interview her for her Ph.D.
"As a graduate student in the School of Nursing at Liberty University, I am conducting research as part of the requirements for a Ph.D. degree. The purpose of my research is to understand English as a second language (ESL) nurses’ experiences with collaborative learning in nursing education, and I am writing to invite eligible participants to join my study.
Participants must be a graduate from an accredited traditional baccalaureate nursing program in the United States within the last three years who identifies as an ESL student during nursing school and has at least three collaborative learning experiences during their nursing program. Participants must be employed in an acute care hospital as registered nurses in the Southeastern United States and can meet in person, face-to-face, or virtual for an interview.
Participants, if willing, will be asked to
-Complete an online demographic questionnaire (5-10 minutes).
-Participate in a face-to-face interview (in-person or via ZOOM) (60-90 minutes) with audio/video recorded.
-If necessary, participate in a brief (15-30 minutes) follow-up interview via phone with audio recording.
Participants will receive a $40.00 VISA gift card in appreciation of their time at the conclusion of their interview.
