**Petition to Save Our Local RadioShack!**

Since 1971, our beloved RadioShack on College Ave has been an integral part of Fayetteville's community fabric. Through decades of service, they've provided unparalleled expertise, unmatched customer care, and a haven for electronic enthusiasts. However, the looming threat of closure now hangs heavy over our heads.

The rise of online retailers coupled with a decline in electronic hobbyists has cast a shadow over our cherished RadioShack. Once a thriving empire with multiple stores across Northwest Arkansas, they now stand as the last bastion of their legacy. With the announcement of their impending closure by June 1, 2024, our community faces a stark reality unless we take action.

But we refuse to let our RadioShack fade into obscurity. It's more than just a store; it's a beacon of knowledge, a hub of innovation, and a cornerstone of our local economy. Where else can you find such personalized service, tailored to your every need, with a side of genuine passion and expertise?

That's why we urge the University of Arkansas to step in and explore potential partnerships to keep our RadioShack's doors open. Imagine the possibilities: collaborative workshops, internship opportunities, hands-on learning experiences for students, and a revitalized sense of community spirit.

Spring semester is coming! I'll be doing a weekly class at the studio for non-NWACC students. It will hit most of the same points as my NWACC class, you just don't get college credit. Hit me up if you'd like more info as it gets decided.

In July, East Hall will begin offering private instruction in studio recording. Whether you’re just starting out and want to build a strong foundation of recording knowledge, or you’ve been at it for a while and want to take your recording to the next level, we want to meet you where you are and help you along your journey.

Some of the subjects we can cover are:

Recording
Mixing
Mastering
Microphones and their placement
Analog Recording
Pro Tools
Audio Processing and Effects
Editing
Consoles and other hardware
Patchbays and Signal Flow
Studio Setup and Monitoring

And other directions you’d like to go!

Class will be one on one instruction in two-hour sessions. These can be on a schedule that works for you... weekly, monthly, or something in between.

Class will be $100 per 2-hour session. If you decide to schedule weekly, they will be $75 per session.
