Sodium chloride is the fastest way to remove keratin from your hair as it strips the hair of the keratin very quickly. In simple terms, sodium chloride is essentially salt. Sodium Chloride actually causes your scalp to dry out and get irritated. It also removes essential oils and natural moisture created by your scalp. Check your labels to ensure your product you choose doesn’t contain Sodium Chloride or Sulfates or even paraben free. The concern with these chemicals is that scientific studies suggest that parabens can disrupt hormones in the body and harm fertility and reproductive organs, affect birth outcomes, and increase the risk of cancer. Research your products before using them.🦋

How can I get keratin in my hair naturally?
Diet. You can help your body produce more keratin by eating right. Foods rich in biotin, zinc, vitamin A, vitamin C and L-cysteine are ideal for boosting keratin. Eggs, onion, garlic, sunflower seeds, salmon etc., are good for enriching this natural protein into your body, thus helping a keratin boost in your hair. The more you know🦋

When getting your hair done and you’re wondering why prices are going up to be serviced please keep in mind how expensive our overhead is. This little amount of supplies was $531.24 and I still will have to go back for more color and supplies within a week or two. Most stylists are spending thousands per month just to cover supplies and color. That’s not including our business rent, business insurance, when we have to get new tools, money put away for taxes. Etc.
So when pricing is increasing it’s not because your stylist is being greedy it’s because they are trying to survive. Pricing from a few years ago just isn’t realistic anymore unfortunately. ( posted by The Hairipy Lounge) 🦋
