✏️Everyone is busy getting ready to go back to school! We hope it has been a fun, yet relaxing summer break. 😎

🌀 Adjusting to new routines, academic pressures, and social dynamics can be stressful. 🌀 We want to ensure everyone is prepared and able to manage whatever comes your way.

☑️Signs of Stress in Children:
1. Changes in Behavior (sudden withdrawal or irritability)
2. Sleep Disturbances
3. Headaches, Stomach Aches, Difficulty Breathing
4. Drop in Grades or Sudden Lack of Interest in School Work
5. Avoiding Friends, Self Isolating

☑️Tips to Manage the Stress:
1. Check in with your child about going back to school.
2. Establish open communication free of judgment.
3. Consistent routines for sleep, meals, and school work can provide stability.
4. Limit screen time and ensure a balance between online activities and hobbies.
5. Visit the school with your child prior to the first day.
6. Encourage extracurricular activities
7. Meet your child’s teacher early in the year.

💯 Feeling supported and able to discuss things openly can have a big impact on your child’s ability to navigate the transition back to school successfully❗️

👏Here’s to a healthy, happy 2024/2025 school year❗️
