A little ceiling work for a commercial office

Just want to show you guys the difference with gel staining. Steps are original color and handrail was prepped and coated with Minwax gel stain (dark walnut) right on top to keep the transparency. I would also recommend glazing for darkening and more of a rich antique look. Definitely a nice alternative if you do not want opaque.

Handrail, steps and landing covered with tread-plex (tricorn black), and all white done with oil base. Also painted a bedroom ceiling, basement staircase, exterior trim (not pictured)

Painted ceilings, removed wallpapers, skimmed, sanded, primed, 2 coats of paint, & lined up trim edges in 4 rooms (2baths not pictures) Happy Homeowners!

I will get better at taking more pictures but here’s a full exterior job finished in December (power washed and painted) in Ballwin. The roof was a challenge because it was pretty steep but I was able get it all done by myself. Sunroom in the back looks like night and day it went from raw wood to the same color as the house.

This family in Eureka wanted to do some updating to their foyer walls and banister after they had their hardwood floors and stairs refinished. All sprayed spindles and handrails create and nice and smooth finish.

I worked on this beauty for a few weeks in St. Albans in November. It was a full paint with some ceilings and trim, along with painting some bathroom cabinets and a mantle in the master sitting room. Went from earth tones to more of a modern look. I’m missing some pics but here’s an idea of the project.

This weekend I wrapped up a really nice ship lap ceiling in Legends Golf Course. Super fun project for a really nice hospitable family.
