Great looking project - Construction Specialties facade element that helps with solar shading.

St. Elizabeth’s Healthcare in Florence, KY was seeking a sun control system that went beyond shading. For the architect, this was about aesthetics – and CS had the perfect solution.

St. Elizabeth’s is a stunning testament to what sun controls can be. The sweeping façade mimics movement across the project, and allows for playful lighting inside and outside the building. By selecting rectangular tubing and reorienting the blade profile, CS was able to achieve the architect’s vision.

NexGen Metal Design Systems Mosaic Modular panels are a great way to make an aesthetic impact to your building without breaking your budget. We have found them to be very easy to work with and they offer different depths, sizes, and tapers that allow you to add texture and depth to your facade elements. With no combustible cores being used and 100% recyclable, easy installation, concealed fasteners, and no gaskets, it makes Mosaic Panels a great choice for your next facade design.

Great article in The March 2024 Construction Specifier pages 8-15. Wood Composite Cladding from Fiberon have some great benefits to offer the design community. It is far more sustainable cladding than real wood, stucco or fiber cement look-alikes. Fiberon uses 94% recycled content in the manufacturing of their wood composite claddings. As many as 2,000 plastic bags can be used in the manufacturing of one single plank. This means less plastic ending up in oceans or landfills. The very nature of using these recycled plastics means that wood composite planks are built to last. Ask about their 50 year material AND finish warranty. Doubling the life of your building helps decrease the environmental impact of its construction or renovation later on.

Come visit us at the CSI Product Show March 27 from 11am - 2pm to find out more about Fiberon Wood Composite Claddings.

This was a great renovation project at Monticello School – replacing the old glass windows with Kalwall to provide glare free daylight into the classrooms and hallways as students learn and socialize throughout the day. The gym was the highlight of this renovation, where Kalwall panels were used in window and skylight applications to brighten the room and allow for students to enjoy all of the uses of the gym in a natural daylight environment
